I received two bottles of wine, one red and one white, which is perfect for my needs, but you can choose all white or all red if you prefer, and you can even choose sweet wines if you like!

NightVine 2018 California Cabernet Sauvignon ($24) This wine has “aromas of wild dark fruits, baking spices, tobacco and hits of vanilla. Flavors of plum, dark cherry and blueberry leads to well-balanced tannins and structure”. I gifted this to my adult daughter since she likes red wine so her evaluation is below.

New Crush 2019 California Pinot Grigio ($24) I’m a fan of white wines and this Pinot Grigio “presents aromas of white peaches and white flowers, sea spray, oyster shell and flavors ranging from casaba melon to citrus zest with a hint of Creme Fraiche in the finish”. My review is below too.

Gemma said this wine was “a full-bodied and juicy red. It’s not for those who like sweet wines at all. It’s a bit oaky and I think it would go well with a classic steak dinner. Overall: 8/10.”

Pinot Grigio tends to be light-bodied and crisp and this is a great example of the type. It has stone fruit flavors, is fruity but not really sweet, has a good amount of acidity, and overall it’s perfect for the weather we are having right now at the tail end of summer. It goes well with pasta or rice and chicken or seafood dishes.

Always in High Heels Planner ($25.50) The artist calls this a “wine-themed undated monthly planner” and that is a fitting name for it. It has 4 pages of habit trackers, 4 pages of goal trackers (not shown, I missed it somehow), 12 monthly pages, and some lined note pages. The monthly pages have messages on them and the only colorful decoration are glasses of various types of wine.

Prairy Bites Anise Free Pfeffernüsse ($2.19) This was a nice surprise. It’s a bite-sized cookie that reminds me of a mild gingersnap. They are flavored with ginger, cloves, and cinnamon and proudly proclaim to be free from anise, which leads me to believe that anise is a polarizing ingredient. I liked them, they were crispy and full of flavor.

Swig Skinny Can Cooler ($18.95 for similar) If you sip drinks that come in skinny cans then this might help keep it cool for an extended time. Personally, I decant my drinks into an actual glass but I can see how this might come in handy in certain situations. I didn’t see the cherry blossom print on the brand’s website but there were plenty of others to choose from.

Joico Defy Damage Hair Masque ($23.80) I have fine hair and stay away from fragranced products due to allergies but since I am due for a haircut and my hair needs help I decided to try this just on the ends of my hair. I used a small amount and left it on for a couple of minutes after shampooing my hair. When it came time to rinse I could tell that no amount of rinsing would remove the product, and my hair felt slick and glassy. That may be ok for some, but my hair is easily weighed down. Turns out the third ingredient is dimethicone, a type of silicone that can cause buildup. The product smells like a floral musk perfume and was strongly scented. I would suggest using it once a week depending on your hair type to keep it from weighing hair down over time.

Mytagalongs Cosmetic Bag ($20 listed value) I couldn’t find this exact bag on the brand’s website, plus, the color or type may vary with each box. Mine is a quilted houndstooth-print bag made of recycled water bottles. It should hold quite a bit of stuff – it’s too big for my purse, it’s bigger than an Ipsy bag, but it would hold all of the makeup I might need on vacation. It’s lightweight too. There are no pockets on the inside but there is a zipper closure on the top.

The Fall 2022 Oh! For Me! box from Vine Oh! had a good assortment of products to go along with my tasty wines. I especially liked the snack cookies and makeup bag, while my daughter will appreciate the can koozie and hair conditioner. The planner was cute and certainly had a wine-lovers theme. The next box to ship should be the Oh! Ho Ho! Holiday Box, which will process the week of November 2nd and ship the week of November 15th.
