Summer has ended, Fall has arrived, and the Margot Elena Discovery Box is bringing the dreamy weather of the season with it! Themed PAINTED SPLENDOR, the Fall 2022 box is packed with premium products that will make the season worthwhile. There are products from TokyoMilk, The Cottage Greenhouse, Infinite She, and Archive – the newest line by Margot Elena. I’m feeling pretty pumped about all these products, so let’s dive right in!

DEAL: Get 10% off on any $45 purchase, including your first subscription box order! Use coupon code HS10 to grab this deal! Ends 9/25/22. Discount applies for new subscribers only!

Every box from Margot Elena includes a set of three greeting cards! This season, I received the TokyoMilk Big Thank You, Bear Hug, and Oh Snap Signature Stationery Greeting Cards ($16.50). I love the minimalistic yet classic touch on each card with glittery accents.

I also appreciate that each card is paired with an envelope, making it easy to send them out!

The perfect fragrance to wear for fall is the TOKYOMILK Dark Black Widow Eau de Parfum ($48). It has a wild and earthy aroma that I like. It smells exotic, but not overpowering. With top scent notes of scarlet sage and mid notes of orange blossom and ylang-ylang over base notes of oakmoss, it smells fierce, sexy, and warm, which matches the autumn breeze. Plus, the bottle looks so chic! This perfume is apart of TokyoMilk Dark, where elegance meets intoxicating scents.

I’m so excited to try the ARCHIVE Journey Within Body Lotion ($20.61), an exclusive addition to the box. It’s tagged as mini, so I’m surprised by its actual size. The formula is infused with green tea and willow, which makes for a lovely and refreshing scent. The ingredient list also includes hydrating sweet almond oil, antioxidant-rich shea butter, and aloe that smooths and softens the skin. It has a light creamy consistency that is easily absorbed by the skin without feeling greasy after. The glass bottle with black pump perfectly looks classy on any shelf or nightstand.

The next product in the box is the TOKYOMILK Gin & Rosewater Parfum Crema Delice ($24). Although it has an extra-rich creamy consistency, it’s delicate on the skin and quick-absorbing. This cream perfume smells light and refreshing, with a hint of citrus and florals. Scent notes include citrus zest, rosewood, mimosa, and mandarin. You can also layer the fragrance and smell great throughout the day by wearing a perfume with the same scent!

To nourish the lips, here’s an INFINITE SHE Inspired Lip Balm ($10)! It’s wrapped in pretty pink, eco-friendly tube packaging! Made with rosehip and hibiscus, this lip product prevents and heals chapped lips. It also contains organic hemp seed oil that helps moisturize, hydrate, and condition the lips. It glides on smoothly, and I like how generous the size is. I really enjoyed the scent of this product too.

With the fall season fast approaching, it’s necessary to keep our hands moisturized and nourished. That’s why THE COTTAGE GREENHOUSE Japanese Plum & White Tea Handcreme ($28) is a perfect addition to the box! I always love a good hand cream, and this one didn’t disappoint, especially with its size. Made with shea butter, avocado oil, jojoba oil, macadamia oil, and white tea extracts, it deeply hydrates, soothes, and refreshes the skin. It also smells amazing, and I’m in love! I’ll definitely use every last bit of it using the squeezer roller key from my last season’s box!

The TOKYOMILK Follow Your Dreams Perfumed Luminary is a candle that looks elegant in a tin can, boxed in TokyoMilk packaging with a glitter accented unicorn illustration! It is hand poured and perfumed. The scent notes are citrus zest, rosewood, mimosa, and mandarin, similar to the Gin & Rosewater cream perfume. It helps you set the mood and warm your space with its lovely scent. This might possibly be my next favorite scented candle because it smells incredible!

To finish the box, here is THE COTTAGE GREENHOUSE Cucumber & Honey Dry Body Oil ($28). Made with cucumber extracts and honey, it provides great moisture and repairs damaged skin. It’s also formulated with grape seed oil that smooths the skin and coconut oil that nourishes dry skin. This body oil is gluten-free, never tested on animals, and contains zero parabens. Just massage onto the skin and get a refreshed glow minus the greasy feeling! It’s also recommended to layer it under lotion for a deep skin conditioning. The product comes in a pump bottle for convenient use.

Margot Elena Discovery Box did it again! I received eight luxurious products, and all of them are fall must-haves. Everything smells amazing, which is always a treat when opening the box. There’s a body lotion to keep my skin soft and smooth, a body oil I can use after a shower, a nice perfume to wear all day, and more! Of course, the set of greeting cards is always a pleasant addition to the box, especially for snail mail fans like me. If you’re looking for something pleasurable to unbox every season, this subscription is right up your alley!

I love this box but I feel like there are less items than in earlier boxes. I’ll have to go back and find some older reviews to see if I’m right. I’m sure it has to do with inflation. The perfume is pretty but I wish they all didn’t have the orange notes!
