Once again, this is a BoxyLuxe review.

REN CLEAN SKINCARE Evercalm™ Redness Relief Serum ($60) is for all skin types but especially sensitive and redness-prone types. White mushroom extract is supposed to relieve redness in 30 minutes and improve skin after about 7 days of use. It also has glycerin, soybean oil, sodium hyaluronate, and beta carotene. It’s can be used twice a day and followed with supporting products such as a day cream and sunscreen, or a night cream or balm. It doesn’t feel oily but left my skin feeling moisturized and the smell is good at first, then a little stinky as I rubbed it in, but then it faded away.

OLE HENRIKSEN C-Rush™ Brightening Gel Crème ($33.60) Here’s another product that smells pretty good, although the scent comes from added fragrance (it sort of smells like an orange vanilla ice cream bar). The color comes from dye. It’s non-greasy and is supposed to provide vitamin C to fight aging.

BEAUTY BIO Bright Eyes Depuffing and Brightening Eye Gels ($21.33) My requirement for eye gels is that they stay in place while I’m walking around with them on and that they don’t smell like much of anything and these passed the test. They have glycerin, colloidal silver, aloe, collagen, and sodium hyaluronate. They have a shimmery pearl look to them that doesn’t go beyond the actual patch. They felt cooling to the area and didn’t leave behind any irritation.

DOMINIQUE COSMETICS Silk Tone Cream Blush ($55) I received the shade Soft Pink. It’s a cream blush or lip color that goes on smoothly and is easy to blend, maybe too easy, I almost blended it away! You can always add more. This gave my cheeks and lips a hint of color and is perfect for those who are still having summer in their area, and of course dry skin at any time of the year will probably love this. Swatched below.

MAKE Serum Balm – Hydrating Lip Treatment ($26) This is a lip gloss that may give the look of fuller lips (it says plumping but I didn’t feel any tingling that is usually associated with such products). I received the shade Pink Cerise which provides a hint of pink color. I tried it by itself and layered it over the pinkish lip liner shown below and it looked and felt like a non-sticky gloss. I didn’t detect any flavor or scent. Swatched below.

QVEEN STUDIO Partners In Crime Lip Liner Duo Spray Tan / SOS ($18 listed value) I found these liners separately at the Qveen Studio website for $5.40 each. Spray Tan is “taupe with a reddish hue” while SOS is “cherry red”. They can be used as lipstick or lip liner and in both cases I paired it with either a gloss or a lipstick. Not bad, they went on easily enough and had no flavor so I call that a win. Swatched below.

Swatched from top are Dominique Cosmetics blush, Qveen Studio lip liners in SOS and Spray Tan, and Make lip serum in Pink Cerise.

LAWLESS BEAUTY The One and Done Long-Wear Volumizing Mascara Nightlife ($25) Hmm, I’m not sure if I’ve ever encountered a mascara that’s both wet and clumpy before. I want to look like I have a lot of lashes, not just 4 clumpy lashes, so it wasn’t good at separating. I tried using the cool and kind of medieval weapon-looking ball on the tip to get my outer corner lashes but nope, not a good idea. It’s vegan so there’s that.

NATASHA DENONA Zendo Eyeshadow Palette ($69) This is a pricey palette and I’m not sure it’s worth the price tag. Of course, the models on the Sephora site have beautiful eye looks and I’m not expecting mine to look like that but the colors didn’t have much payoff, at least not the ones that I chose to apply. Some of these shades are way too bold for my tastes and I felt like it could have used a basic matte base color. I applied Yama thinking it was a peachy shimmer and found green shimmery fallout. I tried a couple more similar colors but didn’t see much change, then applied a dark matte to the crease. I used a primer but maybe I need to use a setting spray or apply the shadows wet, but then I’m worried about shimmers getting in my eyes, it’s quite the conundrum.

I swatched the far left column and far right column going down in each case. I kinda wish I had this palette back when I was in the military, these would have looked great with my BDU’s!

My September BOXYCHARM Luxe featured several brands in here that I’m not all that familiar with but five of the products were from Sephora. I especially liked the REN redness reducing serum and the Dominique cream blush. There was a good variety of makeup and skincare and the shadow palette and lip pencil are good shades for fall. My daughter recently requested some vitamin C for her face so I will share the Ole Henriksen with her since it had more fragrance than I want in my skincare thanks to my sensitive skin. The value for my box combo was around $301!

Below you will find a few more box opening photos plus the product info card.
