Bloomeffects was founded by the wonderful Kim Van Haaster in 2019 to harness the potency of flavanoid-rich tulips into beautiful, luxuriously effective skincare. The tulips come from her husband’s family farm (he is a 4th generation tulip farmer in The Netherlands). Bloomeffects was awarded a Dutch government grant to study & research the use of tulips in skincare.

After the tulip bulbs are harvested, the stem cells are extracted, which forms the basis of the Bloomeffects Proprietary Dutch Tulip Complex. The complex is rich in antioxidants and natural moisturizing factors. Kim also has very sensitive skin which informs the formulation of each of her products.
