In the latest box from Cloth & Paper I received ellipse sticky notes, a pen pouch, pens, inserts, and more. If you are new to this box then know that they have a few different subscription options, and you can choose planner sizes based on the planner you use at home or work. This is a review of their Penspiration AND Planning + Stationery combo, which is $54.99 a month and drops to as low as $49.99 a month when you choose the 6-month term. This is the July box, and they send calendar cards etc. two months in advance, so you’re never behind or have to worry about getting those supplies late.

Planning + Stationery Box

Here’s all of the items in just the Planning + Stationery box!

I received a card that listed each item plus it came with a picture of everything, which is helpful to me.

Clear Storyboard Cover This is a clear plastic cover with white lettering so I placed it on the nearest colorful item I could find so you can see the detail a bit better. The ellipse sticky notes (see them later in this post) are supposed to fit inside perfectly. I am guessing that you would use a wet erase marker to fill in the blank spots.

September 2022 Vertical Weekly, Sunday Start Insert (Refreshed Layout) We will receive one of these inserts in each of the remaining boxes for this year. There are 18 pages in all with space to write monthly goals, intentions, bills due, important dates, and notes. There’s a month-at-glance as well as weekly sections.

Creative Planning Bundle This insert has 68 pages and is for all of those people out there who love to plan! There are 2 sections titled Client Request and Projects. I’m seeing a lot of grids and circles.

Brainstorm Sticky Note These notes are not printed on paper, it feels like some kind of slick material, like page flags that I used to own. They have 4 circles for writing notes, but the circles are small, as is the writing at the top of each one. I think I prefer a big blank square to this.

Ellipse Sticky Notes These are also printed on that same slick material as above. There are three different sizes.

Hustle Icon Sticker Sheets Here are some helpful stickers for using in my planner. One sheet has very small icon shapes so if your hands aren’t as flexible as they used to be you might need tweezers to free them from the sheet.

Creative Overview Insert There are 34 half pages in this insert set, and every sheet is the same on the front and back.

Everyday Pencil Pouch This color reminds me of when I was in the military, it would have coordinated well with my uniform! It’s a classic pen/pencil pouch and the material is nylon and I think it should hold several writing utensils.

Red Editing Pen Ah, this reminds me of when I was taking an English course, we would have to edit our writing with a red pen. It has a 0.5mm tip and writes super smoothly.

Abundance Quote Card, Creative Thinking Infographic Card, and September Calendar Card are listed as journaling cards on the info card. You can either purchase a holder for them or attach them to a page in your planner with a fancy paper clip.

The following items are in the Penspiration Box

Here’s all of the items in the Penspiration Box, which is a separate subscription that can be purchased on its own or combined with the Planning + Stationery box above.

The Prompt Card is on the left and can be used for journaling or noting ideas. The Pen Test Sheet is on the right and is shown later in the review!

The Undated Calendar Card can be filled in when you are ready to put it to use.

Circle Sticky Notes These sticky notes are very nicely sized for page keeping or writing notes.

The pens come in their own holder.

Pens & Markers I received 5 pens this month and all of them are listed on the unboxing blog at the Cloth & Paper website. All except the highlighter have a 0.5mm writing tip and three of them have black ink. The highlighter color may vary and the barrel colors of the other pens may differ too.

If you like planning and stationery supplies in muted neutral shades with the occasional pop of color then Cloth & Paper is the box for you! I reach for the pens again and again, they always write so smoothly and the ink flows flawlessly from the nibs. The inserts are always interesting and they cover things that I don’t always think of, but should. I also like that everything is printed on high quality paper. The pen case seems well made and I can’t wait to use my new blue highlighter!

Below are a couple of box opening pictures.
