Ipsy has revealed the curator of the Ipsy Glam Bag X August 2022 edition! It’s Alicia Keys! Choice will start 8/2!

The key to empowerment? Sometimes it’s all about blasting a power anthem, sticking to a self-care ritual, or grounding yourself with loving affirmations. Just ask music icon Alicia Keys, your next Glam Bag X curator. She’s inviting you to step into your power with offerings that empower you to express yourself, live authentically, and take charge of your own beauty journey.

“I curated these offerings to serve as a treat for your hair, skin, body, and most importantly, your soul,” says Alicia. “Soul care is changing the conversation of what it means to be beautiful and cultivating the vibe and the energy you want to stand in. It’s in how we approach our everyday habits: creating space for ourselves, being kind to ourselves, uplifting ourselves, and changing the intention behind our actions and how we speak to ourselves.” So throw out the beauty rulebook as Alicia lets you in on her personal journey.

Ipsy’s Glam Bag X is $55 per shipment (that’s $43 every 3 months for regular members and $30 every 3 months for Plus members.) and is a limited edition upgrade to Ipsy and Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. Glam Bag X will have 7-8 full-size products each quarter worth $350 (up to $500 for Glam Bag x Alicia Keys).

Ipsters signed up to receive a Glam Bag X this August 2022 might receive:

  • BRIOGEO Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave-In Conditioning Spray
  • GO-TO SKINCARE Skin Party Body Lotion
  • COLOR WOW Dream Coat Anti-Frizz Treatment

“In this collection, not only did I want to share my KEYS SOULCARE offerings, but I also wanted to shine a light on women- and BIPOC-founded brands I think are special,” says Alicia. “There are so many offerings to explore and play with, and I hope that you find something new to love and incorporate into your own beauty rituals.”

KEYS SOULCARE Be Luminous Exfoliator

Customize your cleansing experience with this water-activated exfoliating powder. When combined with water, the powder (made from Hojicha powder, lactic acid, mung beans, and oats) transforms into a creamy foam.

BENEFIT COSMETICS They’re Real! Magnet Extreme Lengthening Mascara

This techy mascara uses magnetic power to create your longest lashes ever. The brush (complete with zigzag bristles for separation) has a magnetically charged core that helps pull the magnetic, mineral-enriched mascara up and out past the tips of your lashes for instant length and lift.

UOMA BEAUTY Brow-Fro Baby Hair Ultra Slim Brow Defining Pencil

This pencil is everything you need to create precise yet naturally fluffy-looking brows. The retractable feature makes sharpeners a thing of the past, and the fine point makes creating hair-like strokes as easy as the flick of the wrist. It goes on smooth and pigmented and stays in place for all-day swoon-worthy brows.

BOBBI BROWN COSMETICS Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick

If you can color with a crayon, you can master eyeshadow with this easy-to-use cream shadow stick. The shimmery shades glide right on, stay creamy long enough for you to blend and buff, then set and will not move, flake, or crease for 24 hours.

This actually looks like a really good box this time!

We’ve been seeing Alicia‘s products in ipsy lately. However she has a skincare line but very little makeup and that’s disappointing.. The photo looks more like Ariana Grande with the ponytail. Ariana’s brand is REM..
I think it’s Alicia though because there was a hint a couple of months ago and they said it would be an “Iconic R&B artist.. we should know very soon.

Melissa Barrera was in the new Scream movie, plus she’s also a singer.

What about Lady Gaga? And Haus of labs? That would be amazing!

    • Nancy
      07.05.22

      Hayden Panettiere

        Nope. It’s Ariana Grande

The picture does look like her with the ponytail and she does have a new make up line called REM…
I hope it’s Ariana over Alicia. Alicia‘s skincare line is OK but as far as makeup she only has cream blushes and lipgloss..
I’m a try anything from REM so I hope so.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that it’s Alicia Keys. Maybe she’ll include her favorite color cosmetics since she doesn’t really have any of her own

It’s Arriana She sings & was on “Scream Queens”

  • Maria

I believe it’s going to be Alicia Keys.

I hope it’s not. All of her products have been in subscriptions boxes lately. Sooo boring!

  • Iris

I think it’s Ariana because the hint of we could scream or sing, people see Ariana and they scream of excitement. And they sing along with her songs too, that’s my guess.

She was in a show called “Scream Queens”. THAT’S the scream reference, not scream of excitement.

I bet it will be Becky G. So much treslúce beauty in Ipsy and Boxy!

I was thinking of her too although an earlier clue said the curator is an “iconic R&B artist”…
