Cat Kit by Pusheen Box is a coordinated box of goodies for your cat, although some items need a human to operate. If you want Pusheen products for yourself, you can check out their sister box, Pusheen Box. This was my first box featuring the adorable kitty and I appreciated the gardening theme since I myself like to garden too. See what we received in this quarterly box below. I’m told items may include toys, homeware, grooming supplies, and more.

Denim Collar The denim collar is adorable and has mushrooms, flowers, and leaves all around. It has a clasp that is easy to use and the collar is adjustable. I think my cat is pretty big but I had no problems getting it around her neck and there’s plenty of room to spare.

Zoey has been wearing the collar ever since I opened the box and I think she walks even more regally if such a thing is possible. Everyone in my family agrees that she likes wearing it and loves to show it off. You can kind of see the charm on the first picture, I added it afterwards and it makes a tinkling sound as she walks around and as it hits her food dish.

Collar Charm The charm shows Pusheen holding a potted plant. It’s pretty dainty and that’s a good thing because I wouldn’t want it to weigh down my kitty’s neck. My daughter also expressed interest in this charm for her backpack but in the end she thought it was best on the cat’s collar.

Here’s a closer look at the charm!

3-in-1 Crinkle, Teething & Catnip Toy The cat toy reminds me of something a baby might use while teething! It makes a crinkling sound, which my ginger cat, Sunny, loves, but it also has a teething ring at the top that has two different textures, one in front and the other in the back. There’s a velcro opening in the back so you can fill it with the provided catnip. I haven’t observed Sunny playing or biting this toy yet but when it has catnip inside she will happily rub her face all over it.

Planter Plush For some reason I thought this was a potato but it’s obviously a planter with greenery coming out of the top. I tried to get my cat to play with it but she wasn’t haven’t any of it, at least not on picture day.

Sunny gave these a quick sniff. I forgot to add catnip to the teether and she payed more attention after I took care of that task.

Food Lids Can I tell you a secret (if you don’t already know)? The lids from canned bean dip will fit over an open standard size cat food can! Of course, this leads to confusion when my husband thinks he’s getting a snack and then it turns out to be shredded fish or whatever. I can toss those old lids now and use one of these adorable can covers. It looks like they should fit over a variety of can sizes so I can buy the smaller cans and not have to stick them in a zippered bag.

Litter Box Scooper and Holder My current cat litter scoop sort of sits unceremoniously on the litter mat that is under the box so this is definitely an upgrade. The back of the box has an overhang so it can be placed in a hanging position.

Spring Teaser Toy I keep waiting for my cats to play with this but so far, I haven’t observed it happening (unless it’s while I’m asleep at night). It has a plush weighted bottom and a Pusheen figure on top and it swings from side to side when you give it a push or pull.

Here’s some pictures of my cats getting to know this toy a little better.

Dry-Erase Feeding Schedule I think this is cute! It has a dry-erase board and a marker that fits on the side so it’s always handy. It has two boxes for each day and that made me laugh — you can see in the first picture above that I added a couple more boxes for Zoey, who eats a little bit of food throughout the day (so she won’t spit it all up from gorging herself). There’s a piece of hardware attached at the top so you can hang it up if you prefer.

There was a product info card included.

What a cute box!

The box itself has pre-scored parts that can be punched out and then it becomes a plaything!

Here’s some pictures of my cats trying to play with the box (I sprinkled catnip inside to get their attention). They are obviously too big to fit inside, usually they just like to sit on top of boxes, or sit inside if they are especially roomy.

My cats enjoyed their very first Cat Kit by Pusheen Box! Of course, everything is pretty much going to have that particular kitty and her friends all over, and I think that is the whole point. I especially liked the theme as I also like to dabble in gardening and of course spring is the perfect time for everything green and leafy. I think the chart will come in handy and I also liked the litter scoop and holder. The cats liked the toys well enough but the product that made my cat happiest was the collar and small charm, Zoey looks like a queen while walking around with it around her neck, while Sunny is a little wilder and probably doesn’t mind not having one for herself.

Cat Kit by Pusheen Box is an officially licensed, quarterly subscription box packed with adorable accessories, fun toys, yummy snacks and more for your favorite feline friend!
