The season of new beginnings is here, and we kicked it off with a box full of luxurious lifestyle and skincare goods. The Spring 2022 Margot Elena Discovery Box was themed BEAUTY IN FULL BLOOM. It included premium items from Margot Elena’s family of brands, from Tokyo Milk to The Cottage and more!
Let’s start the review with a useful tool, the M.E. Essential Luxuries Handcreme Key. I was just so excited when I saw this goodie – I knew exactly what it was for, and I needed it! This elegant-looking accessory is intended for squeezing tubes, helping lessen product waste. To use the key, you just have to slide it on the end of the tube and turn it gently from bottom to top. So easy. I tried using it on a hand creme I previously received from this subscription and it worked perfectly. The size of the key is just right and it’s also a bit weighted. It’s also super pretty!
An aromatherapy experience in a bottle, The Cottage Greenhouse Grapefruit & Blood Orange Dry Body Oil ($28) has a natural formula that hydrates the skin and soothes the senses. This dry body oil can be layered under lotion, as it’s lightweight and non-greasy. It definitely smells like grapefruit, but balanced by the rich blood orange citrus. Infused with grapeseed and sweet almond oils, the dry oil sinks right in and leaves no sticky residue. It also contains coconut oil for hydration.
I also have a new hand creme to add to my collection, and it’s the TokyoMilk Make Me Blush Bon Bon Shea Butter Lotion ($23) which has notes of magnolia, honeysuckle, jasmine vine, and bourbon. The formula is highly moisturizing. Plus, a little goes a long way. Its skin-friendly ingredients include Japanese green tea, shea butter, and argan oil. I actually think this scent is quite summery – a nice entree to what’s to come.
Two elegant greeting cards are included in the box, the Still Irresistibly Foxy Birthday Card ($5.50) and the Chicks Night Out Greeting Card ($5.50). Both cards feature illustrations with a vintage vibe, and they are also made with textured paper with hand-glittered accents. They come with envelopes in case you want to send them right away!
The scent of Lollia This Moment Perfumed Shower Gel ($23) reminds me of a garden full of blooms, which adds elegance to shower time. It has notes of water lily and sun blossoms, producing an uplifting scent that can easily jumpstart my mornings. The formula also helps condition, smoothen, and moisturize the skin with the help of fresh botanicals, shea butter, and jojoba oil. Plus, it lathers up nicely!
To refresh any room’s vibe in time for spring, here’s the Library of Flowers Willow & Water Luminary Candle. It comes in a tin container that’s easy to bring anywhere. The scent starts with top notes of cut greens, followed by flowering lotus in the middle and wrapped up by watercress on the base. It’s made with a soy wax blend, so the candle burns evenly. It’s nice and green and springy.
The Library of Flowers Field & Flowers Parfum ($42) comes in a small vintage-looking bottle that would look really great on display. A few spritzes of this perfume envelopes me with light and fresh scent notes of apricot, honeyed blossom, and wildflowers. The scent is light and delicious.
Rich and luxurious, the Lollia Breathe Body Butter ($40) is the perfect way to give my skin the pampering it deserves. The nourishing formula is easily absorbed by my skin, leaving it soft and supple. Key ingredients include hydrating aloe and shea butter, as well as cocoa butter and avocado oil. It’s also infused with scent notes of peony, white lily, grapefruit, and orange. It’s great for layering with the body oil in this box, if you need extra hydration!
A good balm is essential in keeping the lips healthy and hydrated, and TokyoMilk Kiss Kiss Lip Balm Black Cherry ($10) fits the bill. It’s enriched with nourishing ingredients such as cocoa butter, olive oil, and aloe extract, so I can kiss dry and chapped lips goodbye. The balm glides smoothly on my lips, and I love that it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. It’s scented like cherries, but not tinted.
Margot Elena Discovery Box Spring 2022 is quite refreshing! It’s filled with luxurious items to indulge yourself with, including a dry body oil, hand creme, body butter, and shower gel. They are made with moisturizing ingredients and are also scented. Everything is a great way to please the senses! I also appreciate the inclusion of the handcreme key. It will help me ensure no drop of my handcremes from Margot Elena will be wasted. The packaging is also top notch, it’s something I always look forward to because it’s like opening a luxurious gift!

I received my box yesterday and everything in it is amazing! I have never seen a handcreme key! It’s incredible, I can see myself using it all the time. The body butter is so lux, I used it this morning and mixed it with the dry body oil since I read somewhere on their site that it helps with dry skin! I feel so pampered with this box! It’s my indulgence and I love it. Great box!

Got my box yesterday. I am in LOVE with the scent of the body butter. I’m on the fence about the perfume, it starts great but the end note is off to me. Overall another great box from ME!
