To keep the skin supple and hydrated, Ipsy’s first pick is Juice Beauty SPF 30 Oil-Free Moisturizer ($32). It’s formulated with organic ingredients like grape and pomegranate, helping improve skin elasticity and promote brightness. Other key ingredients are aloe leaf juice and algae that soothe the skin, improve hydration, and maintain the skin’s natural moisture balance. This oil-free moisturizer is lightweight, and it smells nice! It does leave a white cast but fades away after some time.
Another hydrating product in the box is Clarityrx Daily Dose of Water Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum ($78). It gives excellent hydration for dehydrated and dull skin. This serum contains hyaluronic acid, which is known to replenish skin moisture and give it an instant boost! It feels luxurious when applied. Plus, it’s fragrance-free and fast-absorbing. It also promises to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, so the skin stays youthful and plump.
My Choices
I picked Ciaté London Dewy Highlight Glossy Cheek Glow ($22) to help me achieve a glamorous glow this season! This vegan liquid highlighter delivers a glass-like sheen to the cheeks with just 2-3 small dots. It’s infused with yuzu, dragonfruit extract, and hyaluronic acid that hydrates and rejuvenates the skin. I also like its gel-balm formulation that leaves a subtle hint of champagne-pearly color and an incredible dewy finish.
My next pick adds shine and a pop of color to the lips! It’s About Face by Halsey Light Lock Lip Gloss in Payton ($13), a high sheen creamy lip oil that contains peppermint, lavender, and coconut oil. It softens and protects my lips, and also leaves a glossy glint. The soft shimmery bronze color complements my complexion well. Since it has a buttery texture, it glides smoothly on my lips during application. Plus, it’s moisturizing without the tacky feeling!

I also have a new perfume to use this spring: Skylar Clean Beauty Eau de Parfum in Vanilla Sky ($29). It has notes of comforting and rich vanilla, mingled with hints of cappuccino over a caramelized cedar base. I appreciate that it came in a rollerball bottle, making it easy for me to target pulse points.
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t like the items in my Ipsy Glambag Plus because I do! From the moisturizer to the lip oil and even the perfume, there’s a variety of hydrating products I can use, especially after the chilly breeze of winter dried up my skin. I especially liked the serum and the glossy cheek glow for giving me a fresh, radiant glow. The total retail value of the box is $174, which is more than six times higher than the monthly fee of $28!
Of course, Ipsy wouldn’t be complete without a glam bag. For this month’s Power Moves-themed box, the ultra-soft microfiber pouch design features a geometrical block pattern in bright yellow, blue, and pink hues. The drawstring is yellow and has the text “Bold Moves Only” printed on it.
