Feeling excited over unboxing this month’s curation, the first product I’ve pulled out is a soothing Rodial Dragon’s Blood Mask. It has dragon’s blood and hyaluronic acid, which help restore skin hydration and trap moisture, leaving the skin looking healthy and nourished. The gel mask feels so cool to the skin! With arnica extract, it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and puffiness on the under-eye area. To use, leave it onto the skin for 20-30 minutes, then massage the remaining essence.
For keeping the nails looking fresh and pretty, here’s NCLA Beauty Nail Lacquer ($16) in Back to Black shade. The color you’ll get from the box is either this or Fresh Linen (white). I’ve tried using the NCLA nail lacquer before in a different color, and it applies really nicely and dries quickly! It’s ideal for an everyday look, and I admit I rocked out this black lacquer straight away. In my heart I’m always a 15 year old girl, which for me, means black polish. This nail lacquer is also 100% vegan and cruelty-free, which is one more reason to love it! Tip: Apply two even coats for perfect coverage!
Next up is Verso Skincare Nourishing Cream ($28.69) which gives the skin a radiant glow. Made with niacinamide, it lightens dark spots and even out skin tone. It also has oat lipid and oils that help nourish and replenish the skin, making it soft, supple and smooth all day. The cream is rich and does not leave any sticky residue. Plus, it smells good and relaxing!
If you want to go tan beyond summer, Vita Liberata Fabulous Self Tanning Gradual Lotion ($5) does the job! The formula helps gradually build a natural-looking tan. Formulated with hyaluronic acid, it adds extra moisture to the skin, keeping it hydrated amidst the cold weather. It dries quickly, and there’s no sticky feeling after. This clear lotion does not stain on any fabric and has no strong smell, which I like.
A chic, kissable lip is nearly possible with KAB Cosmetics Sweetheart Lipstick ($18). I love how it glides smoothly on the lips, and I even went crazy over its sweet vanilla cupcake scent! I swatched it on my wrist, and it’s a lovely light shade of pink, which is great for everyday use. The color is not bold, and it’s a cute match to my complexion.
For restoring hair’s natural shine, included in the box is a shampoo and conditioner set. Natura Ekos Murumuru Restoring Shampoo ($2.30) creates a rich foam that deeply cleanses the hair and scalp, removing any impurities while treating hair cuticles and building shine.
Natura Ekos Murumuru Restoring Conditioner ($2.40) is a moisture-rich conditioner that prevents breakage by protecting and softening hair strands with the help of Brazilian murumuru butter. It has moisturizing properties and helps restore the hair’s moisture barrier, leaving it shiny and healthy! Both products are best to use for wavy, curly, and fizzy hair. The size is also great for travel!
With a total retail value of $78, this Timeless Treats themed curation is an impressive one. It included hair products, skincare items, a lip product, and even a nail lacquer. I also liked their monochromatic color scheme, which looks simply elegant. As a fan of masks, I loved the inclusion of dragon’s blood eye masks. It feels refreshing and kept my under eye area hydrated. I also enjoyed the nourishing cream, which provided moisture to my skin despite the cold weather. Everything smells wonderful, and they’re not too strong, which I appreciate! This whole box is perfect for doing a classic yet glam look every day!
