Aceology Rose Quartz Gua Sha Facial Massager ($45) I’ve received some face rollers before but this is my first gua sha tool. It’s a piece of smooth rose quartz and you kind of push it along your face and neck to increase circulation and supposedly drain lymph fluid. You need to have an oil or moisturizer applied first and it would probably be best to follow along with a YouTube video to see exactly where and how to move it around but I can tell you it feels very cool to the touch and soothing and I’m looking forward to seeing if there’s any benefit with continued use.

Vike Makeup Melt Gentle Oil-Free Makeup Remover Spray ($24) I’m pretty happy with my usual micellar eye makeup remover, which is fragrance free and doesn’t irritate my eyes. This spray has a light floral fragrance so I prefer not to use it on my eyes. I keep stuff like this to remove makeup swatched from my arms, and so I used it when swatching the Huda palette below. It worked alright, but you can see in my lip pencil swatch that shimmery particles were left behind. It had a little bit of sudsing action when in use.

Christophe Robin Instant Volumising Leave-In Mist CURRENTLY SOLD OUT ($39) I generally won’t use perfumed products on my scalp but since this one was for volumizing hair, and because I haven’t used a scented product there in quite a while, I decided to give it a try. It smells very strongly of rose perfume, and that scent sticks around for a while so I would suggest using it only if you really like rose, like rose potpourri. I didn’t see any volume boost at all, but at least it was non-sticky and was easy to brush through.

Moonlit Makeup Primed for the Night ($18) I use a shadow primer every day, and my current favorite is a bit like concealer and while this one has a slight tint, it didn’t show up once I swiped it on my eyes. It worked well to keep my shadow in place and felt similar to skin primer, with a slick feeling until it dries.

UOMA Beauty Badass MF Lip Liner in Angelou ($16) I thought this lip liner left an opaque coating on my lips that looked like my lip color, it didn’t make them look all that different. It glided on easily without smearing and I didn’t even add a lipstick over top, although you can certainly do that too.

Here is the lip liner swatched.

Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde Eyeshadow Palette ($67 MSRP, now selling for $33.50) What a cool palette! I was a little worried about wearing these colors at first, since I am a “mature” person and these seemed so youthful, but they are also so much fun to wear and I’ve been mixing and matching to my heart’s content! The only problem I’ve encountered is some fall out, so I have shimmer galore under my eyes and can’t seem to wipe it away. I thought my eyes looked as great at the end of the day as when I applied in the morning, maybe with the help of that primer shown earlier? There is a good mix of mattes and shimmers to play around with here.

Here they are swatched!

I always have fun playing around with the items in my BOXYCHARM Premium shipment! I was especially happy with the Huda palette, I love the colors, the shimmers, the overall prettiness of it! I also liked the gua sha tool, because I think crystals are pretty to look at and because it was a relaxing ritual to perform just before bed. My box had a value of around $175.50.
