Boxwalla Beauty Box caters to clean beauty enthusiasts through their bi-monthly selection of non-toxic, cruelty-free, and high-end organic skincare products. With the theme The Truth about Gardens and Dreams, the February 2022 box is all about the New Zealand-based Verité Spa Organics. They believe in the power of plants and their focus is on making beauty products with natural and wildcrafted ingredients and without any synthetic fragrances and parabens. They’re also vegan!

Let’s dive straight into the box! Formulated to repair the skin, Verité Spa’s Good Night Recovery and Repair Sleep Mask is an extra skincare step worthy of adding to your nighttime routine. It contains manuka honey sourced from a small local farm in New Zealand, which is rich in antioxidants and antibacterial properties. It also has skin balancing probiotics, as well as quandong, goji berry, rosehips, hyaluronic acid, and kakadu plum that support skin recovery.

After cleansing your face and applying toner, you just have to massage a thin layer of this sleep mask on your face before bedtime. It has a gel-like texture that absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any greasy residue behind. My skin felt soft when I woke up in the morning – it was lovely!

For a dose of luxury we can enjoy throughout the day, they also included the Japanese Lemon, Vanilla & Jasmine Hand Cream. It contains a blend of natural botanical oils and extracts that deliver hydration, promote skin regeneration, and boost collagen production. The ingredients came from sustainable sources, which are believed to have a higher concentration of vitamins and minerals compared to their traditional counterparts.

Shea butter, New Zealand flax, and baobab help hydrate and soften dry, chapped hands. The cream is packed in a tube, which is great to have in handy if your hands are always deprived of moisture, whether because of constant handwashing or the harsh weather. It also smells wonderful, with floral and citrusy notes!

The sleep mask left my skin feeling hydrated after a night of use, while the hand cream has a beautiful scent that lingers on my hands for hours. It’s amazing how Verité Spa Organics was able to incorporate honey and botanicals into these luxurious items!

I have great new additions to my clean beauty stash! Aptly themed The Truth about Gardens and Dreams, the sleep mask and the hand cream are powered by plants, botanicals, and other ingredients found in nature. They are both gentle but nourishing, plus they smell good, especially the hand cream. This bi-monthly subscription is such a great way to get your hands on luxurious clean beauty items and discover new brands and promising products that are usually hard to find elsewhere!
