FYI – you can see the full spoilers for the February 2022 Allure Beauty Box, in case you want to know all the variations.

There’s one variation in my monthly beauty box, and it’s this ModelCo Metallic Eyeshadow Trio ($9.99). I received it in St. Tropez, which is a stunning collection of three on-trend eyeshadows with a foiled effect. All of them give a splash of shine with every swipe. Plus, they can be blended effortlessly, whether with a brush or just your fingertips. From a light shimmer to a smokey gleam, this eyeshadow trio is perfect for everyday use!

For treating dry and sensitive skin, especially these cold months, here’s a Topicals Like Butter Hydrating Mask ($34). It soothes the skin while restoring the moisture barrier. Ingredients include green tea extract, turmeric, rhubarb, and ginseng, all of which are well-known for combating skin infections and alleviating irritation and inflammation. The mask has a thick, whipped consistency, but it applies smoothly like butter! Plus, the oaty smell is a bit comforting. You can leave it on for 20 minutes or overnight if you prefer. Either way, it helps calm the skin down.

Another way to fight off dry skin this winter is the Evelyn Rose Velvet Body Melt ($2.10). Its light formula melts into the skin, leaving it hydrated and soft with a delicate aroma of rose over a subtle hint of citrus. Packed with rosehip seed oil, cottonseed oil, and murumuru butter, it adds moisture to the skin and keeps it supple. It also feels luxurious when applied!

Dry and damaged hair no more! Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask ($10) is safe to use on all treated hair types, including straight, wavy, curly, and coily hair. This mask is formulated with rosehip oil, B-vitamins, almond oil, and algae extract that restores moisture and leaves the hair silky and soft. It’s also so easy to use! Apply evenly to hair for 5-10 minutes, rinse off, and say hello to healthy hair that’s ready to take on the world!

The next item is an exfoliator from one of my fave brands. dr. brandt Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator ($79) not only removes dead skin cells but also softens skin’s texture and soothes it after. It has round crystals that work deep to scrub off dirt and grimes, resulting in clean and fresh skin. The formula is infused with green tea, white tea, and grapeseed extracts that protect the skin from free-radical damage. Gently massage in a circular motion for about two minutes, and feel a smoother and brighter complexion afterward.

Heritage Store Rosewater Refreshing Facial Mist ($2.35) can help your skin freshen up using only purified water and rose flower oil. It feels cool on the skin, the only drawback is that it has a strong rose scent which I am not a fan of, but nevertheless a cute pick for the month of love. However, it does work well in giving an instant glow and hydration to the skin. It’s fast-absorbing and can also be used before makeup or after as a setting spray!

This month, I received amazing products I can use from head to toe! With a total retail value of $137.44, it’s hard to resist loving all the products in my box. The conditioning mask stands out to me most, but I liked the body melt and exfoliator too. The box even includes a hydrating mask that helps soothe dry skin, a facial mist for an instant glow, and an eyeshadow trio for creating the makeup look I’m after. Overall, it’s a fantastic collection, and I’m looking forward to the next one! It was a bummer to hear of issues some subscribers had with not getting the spoiled products, but also good to hear that Allure is working on making it right. I know I personally really wanted to try the Topicals, and I was happy to have it already in my box. Ultimately I think the feedback ABB received will help improve this subscription for continuing members!

Monthly boxes also include a booklet with a brief description of the items. Here’s a closer look:
