Allure Beauty Box: February 2022 Issues

Allure Beauty Box wants subscribers to know that they are working on getting an alternative for some of the items that continuing members have received in their box – which were different from the advertised spoilers. If you have an issue with your box, they suggest that you email them so they can make it right.

Here’s the full announcement:

To our Allure Beauty Box community:

We want you to love the products in your box and we understand the confusion around items that some members received this month. Our goal is to deliver new products that you haven’t tried before, and if a product has to be substituted for any reason, we’re working to ensure that you receive an exciting alternative of comparable value.

That being said, if you’re disappointed with the items you received this month, please email our customer service team at [email protected] and we will do our best to make it right. ❤️

Some continuing members have received variation 4, which did not include products advertised as part of this month’s box.

    I did email them expressing my concerns about not receiving either of the items advertised in my box plus receiving a duplicate item I received in the past (the sleep serum), and they literally responded saying to give the duplicate item away to someone else then to try.. and they did not offer to send out a different item for the duplicate or to send out one of the advertised items. The worst customer service I ever experienced so I initiated a charge back for false advertising. I would’ve preferred they just send me out a different item and I would’ve continued my membership, but they would not for some reason.

    I received this variation and was confused, I will now email them. I had an issue with my January box and they not only sent out the replacement item but four additional items including a La Mer sample! I was stunned! Great service.

    I get 2 Allure boxes, but I’m going to cancel 1. 1 of my boxes was, indeed, this variation 4. I would have canceled prior to February if I had known that I would receive this variation.

    Customer service was really awesome with me, and is sending out topicals and Dr Brandt, in addition to my box. Plus, I had a duplicate in January that I mentioned and they are sending me a replacement for that as well! Very pleased with their response now(up until this statement though, I wasn’t thrilled–they weren’t admitting they made a mistake..but now they are. Yay!)
