This month, the featured culinary skill is using a whisk. They also sent a whisk with colorful wire loops!

Here are the three recipes from the December 2021 HOLIDAY BRUNCH box:

Holiday Frittata. This creamy and custardy holiday frittata is perfect for brunch! Kids can make it with just eggs, potatoes, tomatoes, cheese, and spinach. This recipe is a great way to develop their palate and learn new cooking techniques.

Hot Cocoa Crepes. Because my kids love chocolates, this crepe recipe has become a favorite. It even includes a marshmallow whipped cream as the filling, and it’s so good. While working on the recipe, my kids learned about the science behind making whipped cream as well. Plus, they were able to use the included whisk!

Gingerbread Pull-Apart. With its soft, sticky texture and sweet, peppery kick, this gingerbread pull-apart is the ultimate reward for the taste buds! This recipe teaches kids to be patient, as it requires an hour of rise time (you can also let it rise overnight!). It also helped in refreshing my kids’ baking skills!

My kids were so excited about the yummy holiday recipes from this month’s Raddish Kids! The frittata and pull-apart bread are the perfect food to enjoy after sleeping in, but my kids’ favorite was the hot cocoa crepes. It was warm and chocolatey, so it was like having brunch and dessert at the same time. They also enjoyed learning about how to properly use a whisk! Raddish Kids is the ideal subscription for kitchen-savvy kids or even those who are just starting to get curious about cooking!
