This month totally sucked for me – If they don’t step up their game with GBX next month I’m out of here.
I have hair products marked as rarely, and I had one or more in every choice and one of my ipsy picks !? I try to tell myself that I’m only paying around $6 for each one of these items, and it’s a good deal. But a lot of these products I could buy for $6 or less at TJ Maxx, so I’m not really sure I’m getting ahead with this subscription – Especially considering a lot of the products are things I will not ultimately use. January is a dud.

Ipsy’s choices for me were Polaar night cream and the Dermelect night serum. I chose Danessa Myricks bread and butter, the Nu Co cleanser, and the Dewtube gloss. I’m overloaded on cleansers, but the Nu Co cleanser does sound nice. I already have the Dermelect serum, which I like but I don’t need two in my already-substantial stash. The Polaar cream gets good reviews but looks like sub-par ingredients. I’ll probably try to sell it.

The Polaar is really nice. I’ve used it as a super luxe back–of-hand cream.
