There are two projects in every box, and all the supplies you need to decorate at least 20 cookies are included, along with detailed instructions.
First Project: California Snowman Pops
These sweet candy pops were inspired by snowmen! Little crafters can ask parents for help when heating the chocolate discs. Once completely melted and smooth, pour a dollop on the wax paper provided, then spread using the back of the spoon in whatever shape your kids prefer. Place the popsicle stick in the center and allow them to decorate the white chocolate to look like a snowman.
There’s a design inspiration on the card provided, but I let my kids design the pops however they want!
Second Project: Winter Wonderland Cookies
It’s cookie decorating time! The second project revolves around the idea of Winter Wonderland, with Christmas balls, Christmas trees, snowflakes, and snowman-shaped sugar cookies. The frosting included are yellow, green, white, and red. Such a festive color scheme! It’s entirely up to the kids to decorate each one using sprinkles and sanding sugar. It might be a little messy, but it’s a great way to encourage kids to be creative!
This activity box helps unleash the creative juices of my kids! The instructions in making the edible crafts are easy to follow, and my kids only needed help with melting the chocolates. Of course, the materials are already provided, making things easy for parents and guardians as well. Since this is the December box, the edible crafts are holiday-themed. The snowman candy pops turned out cute and tasty, while the cookies gave us winter wonderland vibes!
