January is a great time to restart – and that includes our beauty routines. Themed MINDFUL MORNINGS, the January 2022 GLOSSYBOX includes five products that are ideal to keep you relax and refreshed. New Year treat your mind and body has been waiting for.

Le Mini Macron Moisturising Foot Mask ($4) For a morning pampering session, here’s a lavender-scented foot mask! It’s enriched with different leaf oils to keep the feet moisturized and refreshed.

These foot masks are easy to use, so I don’t have any problems squeezing them into my morning routine. Before using, you just have to make sure your feet are clean. Relax for 10-15 minutes after putting them on, and then remove and massage the essence into your feet!

Julep Beauty Love Your Bare Face Makeup Remover Wipes ($20) Gentle on the skin but tough on dirt and makeup residues, these wipes come in a handy pack that I can take with me wherever I go. The towelettes come in the perfect size, not too small and not too big but enough to cover the whole face. They are also infused with licorice extract that promises to help improve uneven skin tone.

Codex Beauty Antu Brightening Serum ($12.50) Serums help boost the skin or address specific concerns, and they are worthy of adding to any morning beauty routine. This one is packed with antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, and hibiscus, as well as their patent-pending formula which work together to reduce signs of aging and brighten the skin. The citrusy scent of the serum easily wakes up the senses and makes me feel refreshed!

Phillip Kingsley Bond Builder ($14) This one is a repairing and strengthening treatment for the hair, ideal for those who have split ends. The key ingredient is hydrolyzed oat protein which softens the hair’s texture and improves moisture retention. You’d have to use it consistently for visible results, but so far, I like it because it leaves my hair soft and shiny.

Blume Day Dreamer Super Gentle Face Wash ($6.33) A gentle facial wash in the morning works wonders for the skin! I’m glad they included one in the box, a creamy cleanser with plant extracts that calm and hydrate the skin at the same time. Unlike the serum, this one doesn’t really have a scent but I still like it. Also, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry!

Invisibobble Bunstar Ice Ice Lady  Another way to get ready to face the day is by fixing your hair! For those who like putting their hair in a bun, this traceless hair tool would be really useful.

The bun styling tool has a unique shape that allows it to be twisted clockwise, creating a firm and secure bun. There are two of them in the box and they also came with an instruction sheet. Unlike regular hair ties, this is more comfortable to use and it doesn’t pull and tug on the hair either.

They also provided other bun styling ideas, including space buns. Cuuute!

AfterSpa Black Marble Roller – SIMILAR ($16) If you wake up with puffy skin in the morning, this marble roller would come in handy! After cleansing and moisturizing the skin, just massage your face using it. Aside from the depuffing benefits, this will also help increase the effectiveness and absorption of serums and oils!

The large roller can be used all over face and neck, while the small roller is for the more delicate areas of the face.

Curated around the idea of mindful morning rituals, the January 2022 box included gentle skincare items, a beauty tool, and even some hair products. Our morning routine helps set the tone for the whole day, so it’s really important to pay attention to what we do during the first few hours after waking up. For me, it involves a simple skincare routine and the serum and face wash are perfect for that! I also like the treatment for split ends and the pampering foot mask. Even without the price of the bun styling tool, the retail value of this curation is already $73!

Everything arrived in GLOSSYBOX’s classic pink box, wrapped in pink paper and tied with a black ribbon. See the pretty packaging here:

I love Philip Kingsley!! But the roller… they’re becoming like an Eyeko eyeliner… no one needs another in a sub box!

lol. right? I did like the different hair clip from the invisibobble instead of their traditional hair tie.

Yes! I have plenty of their regular invisibobbles (which I like) but always nice to try something new.
