We get the free wings in our box every month. Here’s how we make them – our Butcherbox wings recipe: after draining, we pat the wings (3 pounds, we have a big family!) dry with paper towels in a big bowl. Then, we toss them with 2 tablespoons of baking powder. If we’re saucing them up (we use Frank’s Buffalo sauce – the premade version), we skip the salt. If you want a different style, go ahead and salt and pepper them first and toss in seasonings with your baking powder. We prep a large half-sheet pan with aluminum foil and baking racks. Then we lay them all out (yes all 3 pounds of free wings from ButcherBox fit on this tray – barely!) and cook them at 425 (we use our convection oven). We turn the wings every 20 minutes to get them nice and crispy and cook for about an hour, but we generally like them crispiest, so about another 10-15 minutes really gets them there. When they’re done, we toss with the sauce and enjoy!

I’m signed up for this box and loved it until now when they sent me items that were specifically not part of my box. They sent seafood when we were not signed up for a box with seafood. When I complained they said too bad and will not fix the issue. We now have a bunch of items we will not eat (it’s items we thoroughly dislike) and it means wasted money. So I’m canceling. Just an FYI, buy beware.
