The hair heroes curated box looks good, but… I had been swapping for points for like six months, but got tempted by the curated box last month because it had seven items (I think it usually has five). When I got the box, one item was missing and the hair oil leaked, so I had to throw it away and washing the remaining items with dish soap since they were all greasy.

Also, looking at the photo above, I don’t think the Embryolisse cream is 75ml or 2.5oz. It looks like it’s probably 15ml or 0.5oz.

Dia – thanks for this! I updated it last night. We’d just copied from the Birchbox site. Thanks again for catching it – Brandy

I’m sorry that happened, dia. One of the 7 items was just a single use foil packet of shampoo, but overall I thought it was a pretty good box.

On another note, isn’t it crazy that the other place no longer gives us any spoilers or alerts about customization?

I went to the Birchbox site as soon as I saw this post, and it told me that I couldn’t choose yet, but later tonight it allowed me to choose, and I am not an ACE, so shouldn’t be able to have early access to choice.

“The other place” is very focused on commission, and doesn’t post on subs that don’t generate sufficient revenue for them. You might notice they also push some boxes heavily that might pay them to promote their subs.

Just when I thought Birchbox was dying, they go back to having multiple curated boxes to choose from.
