This box was originally advertised to come in one of two specially designed boxes. It was a disappointment that it didn’t arrive in one.
Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner ($12) The tip of this liquid eyeliner allows precise and smooth application! The pigment is also really good. It stays in place and doesn’t move at all even when worn all day or all night long. It’s also water-resistant so you don’t have to worry about sweat and tears melting it away, yet it’s still fairly easy to wash off at the end of the day!
Popband Pop Mask Starry Eyes (about $4) Next up is this relaxing eye mask that warms up to give your eyes some relief.
This is self-heating and it will start to heat up to a comfortable level after you open the pack, without the use of a microwave! This is great for traveling.
OneKind Dream Cream Nighttime Moisturizer ($12) They also sent this creamy moisturizer for your nighttime skincare routine. It contains squalene that locks hydration and rosehip oil that brightens and combats signs of aging. The cream is lightweight and it’s ideally used after cleansing and treating the skin. Just apply a thin later to your face and neck, and massage until it’s fully absorbed. This is one of my favorite products and I’m always excited to get it in a box.
Ahava Superfood Kale & Turmeric Body Lotion ($5) Here’s a smoothing body lotion that helps refresh the skin and make it look plump and healthy! This formula contains Osmoter, Ahava’s own blend of minerals from the Dead Sea. Other key ingredients are moisturizing aloe vera and hyaluronic acid, kale that promotes antioxidant activity, and turmeric with anti-inflammatory properties. It has a nice texture and it’s also light yet highly hydrating. This is perfect to use after shower!
Josephine Cosmetics Lip/Power The Bold Matte Liquid Lipstick ($30) The next item is a lipstick! I like the packaging because it looks very sleek and the ombre effect at the bottom lets you peek the shade of the lipstick inside.
I received this powerful red shade! You can wear a plain and simple eye makeup together with this bright red lip, and you can still look well-put-together. The pigment is really good, as one glide already gives full coverage. It also dries down quickly to a matte finish. I also love the shape of the applicator because it enables me to line my lips quickly for precise application.
Judith Leiber More is More! Perfume Discovery Set for Her (about $12) Lastly, here’s a mini perfume set that came in a lovely gold box.
The set includes 3 scents: More Gourmand, More Zest, and More Floral! More Gourmand has notes of blackcurrant absolute and mandarin oil, while More Zest has notes of bergamot oil and grapefruit. The third one is More Floral and it has notes of mandarin oil and pink pepper.
I love the variety of scents. There’s basically one for every occasion! While I love the edible gingerbread-like scent of More Gourmand and the light floral scent of More Floral, my favorite is the More Zesty scent because it’s fun and fresh. It’s also something I can wear on a daily basis!
This month’s GLOSSYBOX has a nice variety of items! It includes skincare and makeup, as well as fragrance and self-care. My favorites from the box are the liquid lipstick and the eyeliner, which can be used in one makeup routine. The moisturizer is also a promising addition to the box, and a great item to use now that the weather is starting to get colder. Everything in this month’s box was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better curation. The retail value is $75, more than 3 times higher than the price of the box!
