Advent Decorations with House Boxes Crochet Pattern
This pattern is for all 25 Christmas Decorations and also includes printable templates for the advent calendar boxes. You can choose your favorite 24 designs to make. The 24 advent boxes are intended to either be hung on the tree (and then replaced by the contents of the box, after it has been opened), or they can be hung on a string as a garland as shown. The size of your decorations will turn out bigger or smaller depending on the weight of yarn & the hook size that you choose to use. If you are intending to use the supplied template to make boxes to put your decorations into, you should use dk or aran weight yarn (equivalent to light worsted weight yarn) with a 4mm hook or smaller. With yarn that is any thicker than this, the decorations are likely to be too big for the boxes. You will need the following yarn colors (all in the same weight yarn): Red, green, black, white, yellow, brown, beige, pale pink & orange. Designed by Laura Sutcliffe.
