This subscription is also available in Canada – Canadians can subscribe here!

This month’s featured brand is LXMI!

The card also contains information about the makers and the featured item!

Everything in my box!

LXMI Copper Wand Mini-Facial Massage Tool ($8) This tool can be used to massage the products on your face for better absorption. I love the shape because it can get into the creases of my face with ease and when applied with the right pressure on the sinus area, it also helps relieve minor sinus problems!

LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt ($28) This creamy balm melts wonderfully into a luxurious oil when applied to the skin! It’s made with cold-pressed Ugandan Nilotica nuts, which is said to contain more essential fatty acids than shea butter. It’s hydrating and it also helps in brightening and protecting the skin.

The Melt came in a squeeze tube. I like it because it’s easier to dispense the amount I need and it’s also easy to bring on the go! Previously, LXMI used jars but they changed it to tubes since it can contain more product and it produces less carbon footprint.

To use the Melt, just get a small amount and massage on dry spots. You can also use it as an overnight mask by applying a thin layer on your face. Since it’s highly nourishing, you can even apply it as a lip balm.

This product came with its own information card as well.

According to the card, this single-ingredient balm is edible! They even provided a recipe for a Chocolate Bark which uses the Melt. Who’s brave enough for this?

LXMI 33 Face Oil Regenerative Rare Plant Serum ($108) This potent serum contains 33 rare, active botanicals, thus its name. It’s formulated to soothe and moisturize the skin, as well as to boost skin regeneration!

Ingredients include tuhka Brazil nut which moisturizes the skin and protects it from free radicals, antioxidant-rich red palm fruit, and black cumin known for its anti-inflammatory properties. It also contains camellia, baobab, chia seeds, babassu, buriti, marula, and more.

This serum can be incorporated in both morning and skincare routines. You just need to get 4-5 drops and massage onto freshly cleansed skin. You can also follow it with the Melt if you want to seal in the moisture, especially at night.

They recommend keeping the bottle in a cool, dark place to keep the serum’s quality. Another thing I love about it is that every purchase of this serum helps protect hectares of the Amazon rainforest through their partnership with Conservation International.

For this serum, they used a dropper bottle for easier and mess-free application. So rich and luxe!

This month’s The Detox Box did not disappoint! I love discovering new green and natural beauty brands, and LXMI is pretty promising. I like the balm-to-oil formula of the Melt. It does a great job of keeping my skin nourished and I think it would be really useful especially in winter. The fact that it can be made into a yummy treat wowed me as well. I’m also fond of the serum, which can be used in one routine with the Melt. There’s even a mini facial massage tool in the box! With a total retail value of $144, this whole curation gave me a bang for my buck!
