The items were wrapped in paper, sealed with a sticker featuring the Postmark’d logo.

Inside, the items were also neatly tied up in a ribbon.

Here’s a blue envelope with a quote inside.

Everybody you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.

The theme for October is FALLING FOR KINDNESS.

At the back of the information card is a list of quotes about kindness!

Here’s a sneak peek at this month’s vintage postage.

Everything in my box!

Postage. This month’s postage stamps are so gorgeous! The collection features California Gold Rush and minerals like copper, azurite, variscite, and wulfenite. There are also famous personalities like Lucille Ball and Frida Kahlo.

Be Kind. This pop-out greeting card suits the theme perfectly! It has a pop-up image of a banner that contains the words “BE KIND”.

It came with a simple brown envelope.

It’s a really unique card and it can be displayed as well!

Fall Confetti. This month’s bonus item is a pack of confetti, which you can add to cards or to gifts!

The confetti pieces are fall-themed. Some are gold squares and there are also leaf cutouts made from vintage stamps.

Little Leaf Heart Tiny Card. Here’s a small card featuring an orange leaf with a heart on it. This would be such an adorable way to make a loved one feel remembered this season. It comes with a brown envelope as well.

In line with this month’s theme, I also received these cards with positive messages!

Hello Gourdeous. The first fall-themed card features pumpkins, and a punny message: “hey there gourdgeous”! You can send it right away with the included white envelope.

The card is made by Kate Talcott Artistry, a small operation, woman-owned, and family-run small business.

Thankful For Your Kindness. Next up is a card that we can give to show appreciation for the kindness that we received from other people. I love its minimalist print. It comes with its own envelope as well.

It’s made by Ramona & Ruth and printed in Omaha, Nebraska.

My Wish For You. Lastly, here’s a card with a heartwarming quote to encourage someone or to tell them that their kindness is never wasted. The card is paired with a black envelope.

My wish for you is that you continue. Continue to be who you are. To astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness.

– Maya Angelou

Sending Hugs Chocolate. Here’s another item to share with a loved one, but instead of a simple card, it comes with delicious chocolate as well. The packaging looks really cute, with a text that says “Sending Hugs Your Way”!

The chocolate is made by hand specially for Sweeter Cards using fair trade certified and gluten free ingredients.

This dark chocolate tastes so good and the sea salt complemented it really well! Bless you if you actually sent this to a friend, I ate mine by myself!

I love this month’s Falling For Kindness theme! It includes snail mail goodies like vintage stamps and fall-themed greeting cards, as well as a bonus pack of confetti. There’s even a dark chocolate bar, which you can share with a friend or a family member (or enjoy on your own!). Overall, this is such a delightful box filled with some of my favorite things a.k.a. stationery, so I couldn’t be happier! If you’re also a fan of snail mail, you can get a regular supply of cards every month through this fun subscription!

I didn’t love this box as much as my last one. I think the “be kind” theme is played out and I’m pretty tired of being told to “be kind” (by companies who want my money no less) like I was a kindergartener learning to share her toys. I am kind. The people I send my cards and letters to are kind. I’m certainly not sending someone a card that instructs them to be kind, as implying someone is not kind and instructing them to be so is actually not very kind at all. I loved the idea of the flag card, but it feels preachy with the message as it is.

For me, the stand out was the “hey there gourdeous” card. It’s the best of the bunch! The pun is sweet, the artwork is beautiful and I know just who I’ll send it to! I also like the thank you card; it’s very classic and chic. I wasn’t a fan of the Maya Angelou card, but I am not usually a fan of cards with quotes by famous people. Most of us have already heard the majority of the famous quotes so they don’t feel very original or exciting to me. The mini card was a hit with my youngest daughter (who is sending it to her dolls) and my husband grabbed the chocolate bar right away! This box was not a complete loss, but not one of their better ones, IMHO.

I’m looking forward to next month’s collection… and their Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale!
