I’m not getting any autumn vibes from this month’s choices. It all looks like summer left overs. 😕 I got good stuff, but last year’s Oct bag was way more lit.
Ipsy chose the same 2 items for me. This is the best box I’ve had in a while. I picked the Kate Somerville moisturizer, Murad Scrub, and the brush set. The total bag value was $305! This is nice considering how disappointed I was in last month’s choice items.
This is why I cancelled Ipsy. My choice items and the products Ipsy would choose for me were always the lower value Indie brands. My GBP value was never over $200. I don’t find it fair when we all pay the same price to have such a huge disparity in value.
Way too many items in ‘stick’ form…pencils, brushes…
I would have liked to try the brow wax, but it wasn’t one of my choices. Nor the viseart or the perfume. I promised myself I would not get any add-ones; so I didn’t.
But I still love getting to choose my products.
Wow all these choices seem pretty bad this month. It all seems like leftovers from other months.
They chose the same things for me as for you. I chose the Touch Gold, the Tokyomilk perfume, and the 111skin moisturizer. I’m actually pretty happy with this month, though I do wish the Viseart palette had been one of my options.
Ipsy picked the goldfaden mist and doucce palette. I chose viseart palette, 111skin nocturnal cream, and tokyomilk perfume. I like goldfaden products, but mists are a dime a dozen to beauty boxes. I’m not really excited about the doucce palette or the 111skin cream, but my choices were otherwise all iffy brand/boring products. I’m excited about the perfume and I think the eyeshadow palette will be nice.
The perfume was what I really wanted too, so I’m delighted that we both got it.
