The box arrived in excellent condition.

The kit shows up bundled neatly together under some cute red polka dots tissue. It was also secured using a Gramma in a Box sticker.

We also received a message from Gramma Terry! This month, the theme is Back-to-School Treats!

Everything in the August 2021 box!

Apple for the Teacher. For the first project, the box provided red melting chocolate, fondant leaves, tootsie rolls, mini pretzel twists, and red sanding sugar. I helped my daughter with melting the chocolate using the microwave. Once the melted chocolate was cooled, she started scooping some and placing it on top of the pretzel twists.

Then, she added the mini tootsie roll for the apple’s stem and sprinkled sanding sugar on top. For the final touch, she added the fondant leaves. Everything turned out yummy!

Back-to-School Cookies. Now, it’s time for cookie decorating! For this activity, the box provided cookies, frosting, and sprinkles. It’s a fun and easy activity, which also helps enhance kids’ imagination and creativity. My son started with the apple shaped cookie and put red frosting all over it.

My daughter gave it a try as well! She loved putting the sprinkles which come in fun shapes, colors, and numbers.

The cookies came in different shapes and sizes! Aside from apple-shaped cookies, there are also pencils, letters, and even school buses.

Here’s a final look at all the school themed treats my kids made this month!

Gramma In A Box’s back-to-school themed edible craft projects were really fun! My kids enjoyed everything, from preparing the ingredients to making the edible crafts to munching on the finished products. All the ingredients are provided so we didn’t have to go on an emergency grocery run. The icing and toppings made the treats extra colorful and yummy, and the cookies also taste great. Overall, this is such a great subscription for kids who love crafts and snacks! It’s also a great opportunity for a fun family or sibling bonding!
