Joaquina Botanica uses recyclable glass containers for their products. As for the individual cartons, they’re made with recyclable paper and vegetable-based ink.

This month’s Hero product is the Hydrating Glow Oil and the Sidekick is the Hydrating Essence!
Joaquina Botánica Hydrating Essence ($54) This essence is formulated to hydrate and illuminate the skin while also providing anti-aging benefits! It comes in spray bottle which makes application easier.
Ingredients include calendula and rose water flower for a moisture boost, plus plant peptides from Amazonian superfruit Sacha Inchi that helps keep the skin looking youthful. Other ingredients include glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin C-rich camu camu. Another thing to love about Joaquina Botanica products is that they’re free from toxins including parabens, PEGs, petroleum, phthalates, silicones, sulfate detergents, synthetic fragrances and dyes, TEA, and urea. This essence is vegan and cruelty-free as well.
It can be used on cleansed skin or after applying makeup to give you a subtle dewy glow. Since it has a calming formula, it can even help soothe the skin after exfoliating!
Joaquina Botánica Hydrating Glow Oil ($88) Now, we’re onto the Hero product, a facial oil that boosts the skin’s hydration! It feels luxurious when applied and I love that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tacky although it’s oil-based. The formula includes a blend of orchid, cacay, and bakuchiol that promote skin elasticity, plus vitamin C that helps brighten the skin. Other ingredients include camu camu, maracuja, papaya, and sacha inchi.
It can be applied on the face, neck, and decolletage after cleansing. For best results, it’s recommended to be used in the morning and at night. If you want a dewy makeup look, you can also mix a few drops of the oil with your favorite foundation or SPF product!
