The June and July Edition of my TVK Beauty Box arrived in a sturdy little box styled out in pretty pastel colours. A little bit of crinkle cut shredded paper keeps the contents safe.

A little note about the packing of the box adds a personal touch.

The box features 5 products with a value of over £60.  Details of each product are given in the What’s Inside Your Box sheet.

The info sheet includes beauty tips from Amber George, a vegan food and beauty influencer. Her four tips are: establishing a solid skincare routine, adding liquid highlighter to foundation for a shimmery glow, using liquid blush and a dewy setting spray.

As usual, £100 from this edition of the Beauty Box goes toward Animal Free Research UK, the UK’s leading non-animal medical research charity which funds and promotes the development of techniques and procedures to replace the use of animals in biomedical research.

delilah Long Wear Retractable Pencil in Coal (RRP £20.00) is an intensely coloured eyeliner which glides on smoothly and offers a long lasting, bold look.  This pencil makes it super easy to apply liner with precision every time thanks to a built-in sharpener in the cap.  This is a great, functional liner for creating a dramatic eye.

BetterYou Hair, Skin and Nails Daily Oral Spray 25ml (RRP £19.95) is a pill-free supplement containing 6 essential nutrients including Vitamin C, biotin, zinc and pantothenic acid. Just four pumps a day can help support the maintenance of healthy skin, hair and nails and reduce tiredness and fatigue. I enjoyed the orange, peach and mango flavour of this spray and love how easy it is to use.

Miss Patisserie Frosting Bath Slab (RRP £7.50) is a fizzy, shimmery bath bomb with a frosting scent. I enjoyed the cool blue and pink colours of this bath bomb but I couldn’t detect any frosting scent and it didn’t really enhance my bath experience, other than to turn the water a little bit blue.

Dr PAWPAW Tinted Peach Pink Balm 25ml (RRP £6.95) contains pawpaw, aloe vera and olive oil. This is a great multipurpose balm for adding moisture with a hint of colour. I like using it on my lips but it’s ideal as a blusher for cheeks too.

Dr Botanicals Strawberry & Poppy Seed Cleansing Bar 100g (RRP £9.90) cleanses, hydrates and gently exfoliates skin. Poppy seeds gently exfoliate while strawberries, rich in vitamin C, help to remove excess oil and hydrate skin. I love this bar! It has a beautiful fruity scent and leaves my skin fresh and hydrated. It’s a bit pricey for a body bar but worth it, as it is a pleasure to use.

The Vegan Kind Beauty Box is always a hit for me, it’s such fun discovering and trying out a range of new vegan skincare and cosmetic products. My favourite item in this box is the Dr Botanicals cleansing bar, simply because I like its fruity scent and it’s also gentle on my skin. I also like balm and eyeliner, which are great for everyday use. If you’re in the UK and you want to switch to vegan beauty, getting this subscription would be a great first step!
