It’s the Nottingham, UK! This box will ship by Winter 2021!

Our Journee to Nottingham begins with one of the area’s most famous attractions: the Sherwood Forest. A royal forest of England, Sherwood is now a nature preserve, housing some of England’s most beloved species.

As part of a conservation effort, Kevia Jeffrey-West, founder of JourneeBox, purchased a small plot of land in the Sherwood Forest to prevent future urban development.

Each box will include:

Set of 3 Sherwood Coasters

In homage to this ancient forest, the Nottingham JourneeBox includes a set of 3 Sherwood Coasters.

Valued at $40 this lovely set of coasters is made with semi-transparent eco-resin and ink, with real pieces of recycled oakewood, such as what you’d find walking through Sherwood forest.

Why only 3 coasters? Isn’t a set usually 4 or 6. This is just odd to me.

Just FYI for anyone who is unaware, we just received the spring box. Nottingham was meant to be the summer box, but it is already saying it won’t arrive until winter.

Interesting to see Tübingen as an upcoming “destination.” I spent some time there as a grad student, and it’s a very pretty medieval university town, but I’m curious why it would be chosen for a box like this over other, similar locations.

I’m not sure how I feel about this spoiler. I can’t imagine coasters being worth $40, but maybe the picture doesn’t do them justice.
