Everything in my September 2021 GLOSSYBOX! FYI – there may be variations this month!

This Works Stress Check Clean Hands ($4.80) This hand cleansing gel contains 70% alcohol and hyaluronic acid, to help keep the skin clean and well-moisturized. It’s great to bring on the go!

It also has a blend of essential oils including lavender, chamomile, and neroli which help soothe and calm the skin! Unlike other sanitizers, this one is lightweight and non-sticky!

Four Sigmatic Hot Cacao with Reishi ($3.40) Here’s a hot chocolate drink infused with reishi mushrooms that promises to help you get a good night’s sleep. This is easy to prepare, as you only need to empty the packet in a mug and pour in some hot water or milk. It’s recommended to be enjoyed at least 1 hour before bedtime. The Peruvian cacao powder made it extra rich, while the coconut milk powder added creaminess to the drink. Each sip is indeed relaxing!

David’s Natural Toothpaste Peppermint ($3.33) This toothpaste feels refreshingly clean in my mouth! It contains baking soda which works to neutralize acids and promote good oral hygiene. I like the minty flavor because it’s not overpowering compared to regular toothpaste. I also love that the formula is vegan and the ingredients are naturally sourced. The packaging itself is also safe for the environment. It does not contain fluoride, but it does contain xylitol to fight plaque.

Terre de Mars Reddition Body Cleanser ($22) I like gentle body cleansers like this one! Ideal for all skin types, it contains coffee and rosemary extracts which help rejuvenate the skin. The formula is also low-foaming. If you’re not a fan of too much foam in your body care products, then this one’s for you. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue either.

It came in a convenient squeeze tube packaging. To use, just get a generous amount and massage onto your skin from head to toe. It smells really good and it leaves my skin feeling clean and energized!

Daily Concepts Hammam Mitt. This mitt is specially designed for gentle exfoliation, and you can use it with a body wash or body cleanser.

This is a great way to get rid of dead and dry skin cells to keep your skin looking and feeling fresh after shower.

This mitt is said to be inspired by ancient Turkish bathing rituals. It can be used for all skin types!

DHC Astaxanthin Collagen All-in-One Gel ($49) Honestly a bit of a relief to get to this item – because there’s otherwise no other skincare or makeup item in the box. This is a lightweight gel cream that provides several skin benefits in just one step, which includes toning, brightening, and hydration.

One of the key ingredients is astaxanthin, a natural antioxidant which helps eliminate free radicals and prevent premature aging.

It came in a tub container so you can easily scoop out the amount you need.

Other ingredients include a derivative of hyaluronic acid, royal jelly, and hydrolyzed collagen, which help keep the skin smooth, soft, and well-hydrated. The formula is rich but gets easily absorbed by the skin.

I received over $82 worth of items in this box, and the curation also includes items that I actually enjoyed using! There’s a gel cream and body cleanser which are great for everyday use, as well as a mitt that helps with gentle exfoliation. There’s even a toothpaste that leaves my mouth refreshed, and a sanitizer that keeps my hands clean all the time. My favorite is the gel cream because it has promising skin benefits. It’s not just for moisturizing, it also helps tone my skin and keep it glowing. This was more of an all around basics box than a beauty box – and probably not a hit for everyone. Two shower items are excellent, but there is only one skincare item, and no makeup products. I absolutely love getting luxury hand sanitizer in my subscriptions, but I know others vehemently disagree.
