Complex Culture Beauty Sonic T-Bar Facial Massager ($58) Complex Culture is an Ipsy beauty brand and since I subscribe to Ipsy, I have already tried this product before!
It’s supposed to increase blood flow and reduce puffiness. You need to install a battery first (not included).
I wasn’t a fan of this the last time I tried it so I am going to gift it to someone else, but that’s mainly because I have suffered from motion sickness all my life and for some reason this sets it off. It sure looks pretty, with its rose gold finish.
Herbivore Botanicals Blue Tansy Resurfacing Clarity Mask ($48) This product has earned the “clean + planet positive” badge at Sephora. It’s a rinse-off mask meant especially for those with normal, combination, or oily skin.
Some of the ingredients in here are aloe, glycerin, and sodium hyaluronate. The fruit enzymes (from stuff like pineapple and papaya) help dissolve dead skin cells while the blue tansy oil helps relieve redness.
It’s very green and please note that the color can vary from “deep blue to mossy green” according to Sephora. It is scented with flower extracts and smells like a combo of menthol, jasmine, and blue tansy. I applied it and it was a sticky gel, it took a while to remove it all but warm water helps. It didn’t dry down all the way but then again, I have sensitive skin and only left it on for 5 minutes. I didn’t feel any tingling or burning while it was on.
Tarte Cosmetics SEA Glowtion™ Skin Perfector ($32) is a primer that is supposed to provide a glowy base while fighting fine lines and wrinkles with the help of niacinamide.
Some of the other ingredients are squalane, glycerin, mica, and dimethicone.
I was surprised to see it had some tint. It mainly made my skin a little glowier than usual but didn’t provide anywhere near the results seen on the link shown above (which was paired with a concealer). I wear a powder foundation so any visual effect disappeared as soon as I wielded my powder brush. It worked well as a primer. This product has earned the “clean at Sephora” badge. Swatched below.
Hey Honey Trick and Treat Lip Balm in Berry ($23 for similar item) According to Hey Honey’s Instagram page, this item is new and available exclusively at BOXYCHARM. They have a similar item on their website in Watermelon.
It’s a lip balm with castor oil, coconut oil, honey, and jojoba. I applied it to my lips and it felt grainy at first but then became smooth. It has a very strong and oddly off-putting perfumed scent that got in my mouth so I had to wipe it off almost immediately. If you are ok with fragrance in your lip care then it might not be a problem but this was not ok with me. Swatched below.

Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palette ($25) The idea behind this palette is that you can easily snap it to another Fenty palette and instantly have 12 shades at your disposal.

Oh, I like these colors! I’ve always been pretty happy with Fenty as a brand and was glad to get this in my box. I used a primer underneath and I thought the shades went on easily and stayed on all day. They blended beautifully and the color combo was cool (and also warm). The four shades on the right are going to be used most often by me but I did try the glittery silver color too!

Beauty Bakerie Milk and Honey Highlighting Palette ($38) A highlighting palette is the last item in my box!

There are four shades and there are cool and warm tones.
They are all full of shimmer. I tried Bee Sweet on my pale skin and it wasn’t too pigmented and added a soft glow that I can handle.

Overall I really enjoyed my products from BOXYCHARM Premium this month! I didn’t try the T-bar tool and the fragrance of the lip balm was too odd and strong, but the rest of the items worked well. My favorite of the bunch was the Fenty eyeshadow palette! The shadows were easy to apply and stayed in place all day long. They looked good and felt good and I really liked the colors. The value of my box combo was around $224, and I was so happy to see that several of these items are carried by Sephora!
