Some of the items came in their original packaging. There were no fillers but everything arrived in good condition!

This card has beauty tips from their editors, to help you maximize the products in the box!

Allure is a magazine so they produce a mini-magazine with all the featured items in the box.

NOTE: Sometimes Allure does send variations to the box. Often new members will receive something that continuing members aren’t receiving. Members won’t receive the same item twice.

If you are a new member then your products may be slightly different, but continuing subscribers should not receive the same product twice.

Aside from the product photo, they also provide a short description.

They also include the price of the product as well as the websites where you can buy it from. You can also find some discount codes for a future purchase!

Everything in my box! FYI – you can see the full spoilers for the September 2021 Allure Beauty Box, in case you want to see all the variations.

Oryza Beauty Opus in Velvet Ribbon Lipstick ($22.50) This lipstick glides smoothly on my lips without any tugging. I love how vibrant and pigmented the color is. Packed with shea butter, pomegranate fruit extract, and vitamin E, the formula is very hydrating and it also helps keep the lips nourished and protected!

Here’s a swatch! The rich berry tone is great for just about any occasion and I think this is something I would wear often.

Sunday Riley Light Hearted Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen ($35) This sunscreen contains SPF30 that protects the skin from sun damage. It’s good for everyday use and it also helps reduce the appearance of pores. The formula is highly hydrating and I like that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky! This item in particular engendered a lot of controversy. I’m a fan of sunscreen year round, but I’m not a personal fan of chemical sunscreens for my face – it makes my eyes burn. It’s very runny but has a velvety finish – I’ll be saving it for legs!

Alpha-H Liquid Gold with Glycolic Acid ($54) This is an exfoliating treatment that works overnight to get rid of dry skin. It has AHA and glycolic acid which is known to have effective skin-renewing properties. You can wake up to a glowing and more hydrated skin whenever you use this at night so it’s a great skin preparation if you have an important meeting the next day so your skin will look more radiant even without makeup!

Acure Radically Rejuvenating Dual Phase Bakuchiol Serum ($8.31) Here’s a serum featuring two layers! On top is an essence infused with antioxidants and the bottom layer is a moisturizing serum blend. You just have to shake the bottle before use to combine them! This product contains bakuchiol, a plant based retinol alternative which helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Other ingredients are eggplant, turmeric, and holy basil.

Belif The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb ($6) Here’s a must-have if you need help with dry skin, a moisturizing cream! It’s formulated with comfrey leaf and panthenol which helps lock moisture into the skin. Another key ingredient is oat extract, known for its skin-soothing properties. It’s great to use whether in the morning or at night. This also works as a moisture boost any time of the day, and all you have to do is get a small amount and tap gently onto your skin. It has a watery gel texture which feels lightweight and applies smoothly.

Kneipp Lavender Mineral Bath Salt ($2.38) They also included this mineral bath salt infused with lavender essential oil. It has a soothing scent, perfect for a relaxing bath whenever you need it. Aside from soothing tired muscles, this is also gentle on the skin as it’s free of chemical additives.

I received quite a lot of skincare items in this month’s Allure Beauty box! It includes a face cream, a sunscreen, an exfoliating treatment, and a serum. My favorite is the exfoliating serum – a large, pricey must have skin renewing product. I’m a fan of including the sunscreen because it’s great for everyday use, although it’s not a face product for me personally. The only makeup product I received in this box is the lipstick. It’s well-pigmented and it has a good color payoff as well! The total retail value of the box is $128.19, more than 5x the monthly price of the box. If you’re looking for a beauty box that provides great value for money, this one is a good contender!
