Local Walmart buys.. also I would never use those ugly hair ties.. if I did I also could get at Walmart.. along with the lotion.

I subscribe to a couple of beauty boxes and love them so much I wanted to add a few more so that I’m getting even more goodies each month. I came here to get an idea of what to expect from GlossyBox, and this lineup clinched it for me: I will NOT be subscribing to this beauty box. Once I got past the first item — which had me excited because I love Elemis — this box completely lost me. Seriously — Cetaphil and plastic hair rings? REALLY?!? Most of us subscribe to beauty boxes because we want to use and try out high end and/or new and unusual products, NOT items we can pick up during a stop at Wal-Mart. Plus, this box has only one nice item, and it’s not full size; it doesn’t include enough full size items (only two, and both of them are cheap items); the contents are extremely cheap in quality and total retail value compared to what I receive in my other beauty boxes; and the box focuses far too much on hair products (2 of 6 items are hair products), which I would never use because I’m very, very picky about my hair products. Disappointing lineup. I’ll subscribe elsewhere.
I am super bummed about the box design being the basic pink. I subscribed this month for the anniversary thinking for sure they would do something cool for it. Hoping they look at these comments and maybe MAKE A CHANGE before anything ships. It’s part of why we and I think I can speak for a lot of us even do this subscription. For example I can go buy cetaphil myself at my drug store. Not something I expect from a subscription box that again WE sign up for to try NEW and or brands we haven’t heard of to try new products. Looks like this will be my only month. Disappointed Glossy. It’s your anniversary! We all need some fun in our lives right now and making a fun box design would’ve been the least you guys could do.
I canceled, I think this box is beyond disappointing compared to other boxes less or same price. Last month was horrible. There was so much room in the box with the small amount of things they sent. I canceled; and made them force cancel because they won’t cancel your membership once you sign up. It’s not worth the money in my opinion.
Well I didn’t see the comment of the box change. I just ordered with the code. Thanks. It looks so much more fun with the birthday box. Oh well. As long as the products are there.

They’ve just let us know that the box will be the classic pink Glossybox for the US. This is super disappointing, as the insert for last month clearly stated it would be specially designed.
I usually don’t care about the box but it would’ve been nice to get some nifty packaging for the anniversary.
