Gramr, Inc. is voluntarily recalling the kettles, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, because the safety and satisfaction of our community members is our utmost priority.

My recalled kettle appears to be fine. Can I continue to use it?

No, for your safety, if you have a recalled kettle, please stop use immediately and participate in the recall.

My kettle was purchased from CAUSEBOX. What remedy will I receive?

Gramr, Inc. is offering consumers who purchased a recalled kettle from Rose & Fitzgerald a full refund of their purchase price (including tax and shipping fees).

Does CAUSEBOX still exist? Why are you giving me an account credit for Alltrue?

CAUSEBOX changed its name to “Alltrue” in May 2021 as part of a long-planned expansion of its retail offerings and digital community. The subscription boxes and seasonal markets remain integral parts of Alltrue, and if you had an active CAUSEBOX membership, it automatically transferred to Alltrue. Account credits for consumers who received a recalled kettle are valid for purchase or renewal of Alltrue subscriptions or any other purchase on the company’s website, including the Alltrue Add-on Markets, which offer curated assortments of socially-conscious products.

I am not a CAUSEBOX/Alltrue subscriber. How can I use an Alltrue account credit?

Consumers who received a recalled kettle but do not have an active Alltrue subscription will still be able to use the credit in the Alltrue Add-on Markets even if they are no longer subscribers. Account credits may also be applied to the purchase a new subscription.

How do I participate/register for the recall?

For consumers residing in the United States or U.S. territories, to receive the recall remedy, you will need to remove the handle from the recalled kettle and return it to us using a prepaid shipping label we will send to you. The handle can be removed safely by carefully unscrewing the two screws that attach the handle from the body of the kettle. After we receive the handle we will issue the recall remedy. After you receive the recall remedy from us, you should dispose of the disabled kettle in accordance with local trash and recycling requirements. Disabling the unit, and sending us the handle to verify that the unit is disabled, are necessary to participate in the recall. Disabling the kettle is an important safety measure to help prevent it from being used by someone else. To receive a prepaid shipping label please fill out this online form.

For consumers residing in Canada, to receive the recall remedy, please fill out this online form and follow the specific instructions contained therein. After you receive the recall remedy from us, you should dispose of the disabled kettle in accordance with local trash and recycling requirements.
