The package arrived in a bubble mailer and the respective kits were packed in plastic packaging.

Everything in the package!

Jumbo Photo Clips. The first project is about designing jumbo photo clips. The materials provided in the kit are jumbo wood clothespins, paint, brush, craft stick, and marker.

The booklet lists also lists some items you’ll need from home, plus the step-by-step instructions.

The instructions are easy to follow. It’s even guided by photos, so it’s hard to go wrong.

First, my daughter painted the wood clips in white using the brush and then left them to dry.

Once the paint is dry, she used the crafting stick to rub the design gently on the photo clip to make sure it transfers to the block. The next step is to gently peel the paper to reveal the finished design. Just make sure to rub every nook and cranny so all the design would transfer properly.

Lastly, she used the gold marker to add some metallic accent on the border of the clips.

Here’s what the finished clips looks like! They’re so pretty!

The colorful design really stands out on the white base of the wooden clips!

These are perfect for displaying photos!

Chalkboard Banner. The next project is making a chalkboard banner. The kit provided the chalkboards, stencils, jute, chalk, paint, sponges, and burlap pieces.

From home, my daughter only needed waxed paper, stapler, paper towels, and tape.

Just like the first project, this also came with step-by-step instructions.

First, my daughter designed the burlap! She placed the polka dot stencil on the center of the burlap and taped it. Then, using a sponge, she painted over the stencil using the blue paint.

For this one, she used the zig zag stencil pattern and the blue and green paints alternately.

Once everything is done, let them dry and then it’s time to place the string through the burlap and through the chalk board!

My daughter also used a stapler to attach the burlap to the string and keep it in place.

This is what it looks like once finished. You can put and customize your own message in the heart chalkboard!

Both projects turned out lovely!

My daughter enjoyed creating these fun decorative pieces for her room! The photo clips were easy to decorate and they are great for displaying photos. The chalkboard banner is another adorable DIY project and my daughter loved that it’s customizable, so she can write different messages depending on her mood for the day. Overall, this subscription is a convenient choice for young crafters since most materials are provided in each kit and the instructions are really helpful! It’s a great way to give them something new to look forward to every month!
