Look at the box, it’s so colorful and has flowers, fruits, and of course lips all over! I am reviewing Poutbox Plus!

There was a thank you tag on top.

Packed with love!

I found a product info guide.

Inside I found all of the products listed plus a description and MSRP.

The back had the rest of the items.

Most of the items came in their own boxes.

Everything in my box!

Ili New York Cosmetics Pouch in Blush ($29.50) A small cosmetic bag in a pretty pink shade is perfect for holding lip products, a credit card, and an id.

The tag tells me this is made with real leather!

It has a gently pebbled texture and a tassel zipper pull. The zipper is rose gold.

There are two pockets inside. One is for bills or a card.

The other will hold change. The bag measures 6.5″ x 3.5″ x 2″ and according to the tag, it has RFID blocking capabilities.

Lime Crime Velvetines Liquid Matte Lipstick in Virgo ($20) I think this is my first time trying anything from Lime Crime and while I was pleased with the performance, the color was, hmm, unique?

It’s described as light nude on Amazon and when I applied it as is on my lips it was a light, opaque peach hue that wasn’t flattering at all. However, I watched the singer Halsey do a makeup tutorial and it was fresh in my mind. I applied a darker lip liner around the edges and then applied this vanilla-scented, quick-drying lip color to the middle and then used a lip brush to blend it all together and I had success! The color looked great, it stayed locked in place for hours, and it didn’t feel bad on my lips like some matte lippies out there.

Here it is swatched!

HAN Skincare Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Nude Rose ($15) HAN is one of my favorite makeup brands, and they happen to be cruelty-free and “safe”, free of non-toxic ingredients like parabens, phthalates, and talc.

This is a perfect straight-from-the applicator color for me, although a lip brush helps it get into all the right places.

Here it is swatched! It went on smoothly, doesn’t dry down, and left my lips feeling moist and soft. The color was just right on my lips too, not too bright, one and done.

Girlactik Beauty Long Lasting Matte Lip Paint Liquid Lipstick in Iconic ($23) Here is another winner! It’s a long-lasting matte lipstick that dries almost instantly but it doesn’t leave my lips feeling tight or dried out.

The color looked so vibrant so I applied just a little and smoothed it out with that trusty lip brush (a must have in my makeup kit) and I got the perfect wash of color, almost like a cherry popsicle stain. I absolutely love it, it was perfect for my needs, although those who want a bolder lip can apply it thicker in the first place or apply a second coat.

Here is a strong swatch, I didn’t apply it this thickly on my lips. It dried quickly and stayed on for hours. The shade is a classic red and I am very impressed with this brand.

NCLA Beauty Balm Babe Lip Balm in Red Roses ($16) Everything’s coming up roses in this month’s box!

Here we have a natural lip balm to keep lips moist as winter wraps up her assault on that delicate area.

The color looks so vibrant in the pot and the description says that this product is rose scented!

Here it is swatched and that color didn’t really show up on my lips, but it did leave them glossy and smooth. The scent wasn’t very noticeable, a plus in my opinion, and the gloss felt like a combination of balm and lip oil, so it would also work well before bed.

Moroccan Magic Lip Balm ($4) I love how everything fits into this love/pink/rose theme going on this month!

This is a lip balm made with sunflower, argan, and coconut oil plus beeswax and essential oils.

It was very easy to glide the balm over my lips and had that classic rose potpourri flavor. Lip balms come in handy for fixing those “oops” moments that sometimes happen with quick drying, long-lasting lip colors. Just rub it on and then dab at mistakes with a tissue.

I was super thrilled with my February Poutbox! I received such beautiful colors and there is something for every occasion, from barely there to vibrant and bold. I loved the theme, they nailed it without having anything smell super strong. I love that this subscription sends both natural and traditional makeup items, it’s the best of both worlds. As for the value, the February collection was worth around $107.50, wowza! I even appreciate that they added a level for those who want less products, they have something for everyone.
