The baking kit arrived in a cute, light blue box!

Some of the items were packed in plastic.

This is the Out of this World Donut Kit! It comes with a card that lists all the ingredients needed, tools, baking time, and quantity of servings.

The instructions are detailed and the included photos make it super easy to follow. Some projects suggest a particular styling or finish for decorating — some are more open-ended and encourage you to let your creative juices flow.

The information card also has useful tips written on it. Usually, there is a factoid and a couple of options for adding some extra flair or flavor to your creation.

The box includes complete nutritional and ingredients information. You will like the ingredients – never anything artificial, and the ingredients are primarily organic with only natural food dye. The information covers every component of the kit, from mixes to decorations, but it doesn’t contemplate anything you are instructed to add, such as butter or yogurt.

Everything inside the box!

The box provided a silicone donut pan for easier preparation. It’s in a beautiful purple color that I love!

This tool can easily create perfect and uniform sized donuts.

The box only included dry ingredients, which includes organic pancake mix, organic glaze mix, pink and blue dye, and diamond sugar.

From home, I just grabbed butter, eggs, yogurt, and milk.

As instructed, my daughter combined the eggs, butter, milk, and yogurt into a large bowl.

She started whisking it to make a more foamy consistency.

Next, my daughter added dry ingredients and mixed them some more until the batter is smooth! After that, she transferred the batter to the mold and put it in the oven. It takes only 12-15 minutes for the donuts to turn golden brown.

While waiting for the next batch of donuts inside the oven, she also started making the glaze.

The glaze will be used as coating on the top part of the donuts. It will surely make them look appealing!

She just mixed the glaze mix and the milk, plus added the dyes on the respective cups.

After the pink one, she proceeded with the blue dye. This is pretty easy!

For the third color, she mixed the pink and blue dyes to create a purple glaze.

The large bowl with excess glaze was drizzled with the colored mixtures.

I’m excited to see how the donuts will look like!

The donuts look really great! Each piece had a unique and beautiful pattern.

These donuts are almost done, we just have to wait for about 1-2 minutes for the glaze to dry.

Another fun part in making these donuts is sprinkling the sugar on top of them!

These donuts indeed look out of this world with the galaxy pattern formed using the colored glaze!

They’re so pretty!

My family enjoyed munching on these donuts! They were delicious and totally beautiful.

This month’s baking kit from Foodstirs is all about making donuts! It was pretty easy to make, my daughter didn’t have a hard time following the instructions for both the batter and the glaze. The box only provides dry ingredients, but the rest of the ingredients are easy to find in our own pantry. I also appreciate the inclusion of the donut mold. It’s the key to making perfectly-shaped donuts in uniform size! The most fun part of the recipe is decorating each piece with the galaxy inspired glaze and adding the sugar on top. The donuts turned out beautiful and, of course, delicious! This baking subscription is great for families looking for a new and exciting way to bond, or even for individuals who simply want to enjoy baking in the comforts of their home. Another thing to love about this subscription is that they only use sustainable and clean ingredients without GMOs!
