Also included are sticker tags for books, where kids can write their names.

Pterodactyl Show and Tell by Thad Krasnesky ($16.61)
When a boy brings his pterodactyl to school for show-and-tell, hilarious havoc ensues. The creature’s delightfully demented antics, the kids’ expressions as they try to avoid the hungry pterodactyl, and the out-of-control imagination of the boy yield a wild and wacky romp.
Kids who dig dinosaurs will devour this preposterous pterodactyl tale written in rhyming couplets and teeming with edgy school-age humor and giggle-inducing illustrations.
The front cover features the Pterodactyl in the middle of the classroom for a show and tell, while the back cover shows it flying and it even grabbed a hold of the book’s barcode, which my kids seem to find so funny!
A synopsis of the story is printed on the inner flap of the book cover. Meanwhile, the endpaper features different kinds of footprints!
My son loves dinosaurs so its no wonder that this is now his favorite book! It’s filled with colorful and engaging illustrations, where the Pterodactyl stands out.
The texts are short but concise, so they are easy enough for kids to grasp.

The cover of this book is eye-catching. The food illustrations look absolutely yummy!
The story is a nice take on food preparation, telling it in a way that children can easily understand. The endpaper features shapes of different tools that can be found in the kitchen!
The word play on the sentences make them fun for reading aloud. It has interesting facts about food as well!
My kids love the full color illustrations. This book is a really fun way to introduce food and meal preparation to the kids with really fun and engaging language play.
My kids loved this month’s book picks from Elephant Books! Both are fun and engaging stories so it’s hard to pick a favorite. Each book is filled with fun and colorful illustrations that easily captures children’s attention plus the texts are easy to understand and fun to read aloud. If you have little kids and would love for them to start reading or have something they can do while staying at home, getting this subscription is a great idea. What’s even better is that you don’t need to go and pick them up at the bookstore as they will be delivered in the comfort of your own home!
