The first project is about making a Mermaid Pillow!
The guide lists a step-by-step instruction for the project.
Each step also has a photo for reference!
All the materials for the project are already included in the kit, except for a pair of scissors and a ruler that you can easily find at home!
The first step is to lay teal circles on one side of the pillow case.
Once they’re in position, my daughter stitched them up according to the instructions on the guide.
She continued doing the same procedure, and once she ran out of the teal circles, she proceeded laying down the light blue ones.
The last layer is composed of light green circles. The ombre effect resembles a mermaid tail!
Next, my daughter carefully cut the plastic open to get the fiberfill inside.
It’s time to stuff the pillow!
She put the fiberfill in the pillow to make it fluffy!
Once done, close the zipper up!
Here’s the finished project! It looks cute!
The next project is about making Birthday Shaker Gift Bags!
The end product looks absolutely adorable, I can’t wait!
Just like the other project, this also came with a guide.
The step-by-step procedure shows instructions on how to create all three designs!

My daughter started with the Celebrate Gift Bag!
After popping out the ice pop frame, my daughter assembled all the pieces, sticking the transparent film on the frame and making sure it is lined up on the pink rectangle piece.
Afterward, she placed the colorful sequins in the rectangle before placing the frame and sealing it up. Then we add the CELEBRATE die cut banner in the middle of our ice pop!
She did the same procedure with the Happy Birthday Sweetie Gift bag but this time, there’s a cute Pineapple frame!
The same goes for the Hope Your Birthday’s Sweet Gift Bag!
This one features a strawberry ice cream with a cherry on top!
The sequins play around inside the frames and they’re delightful to watch!

They also came with cute note cards so you can add a short and sweet message along with your gift!

These DIY crafts make staying at home fun and enjoyable! My daughter loved creating both the pillow and the bags, and she was also excited to use the finished bags for gifting. Most of the materials are already provided plus the instructions with illustrations are easy to follow. The mermaid pillow needed a bit of adult help with some knots but my daughter was able to make all the gift bags without any difficulties. Annie’s Creative Girls Club is such a good way to help enhance kids’ creativity and their interest for making crafts! It also gives them something to look forward to even when they’re just at home!
