I am reviewing the Healthy & Beauty Box!

WOWBOX ships from Japan and everything arrived in perfect condition.

The serving sizes look pretty generous. There are several servings in most of the bags.

Everything in my box!

Ajigen Tsunati is a tuna cracker with a texture that is not greasy at all, more like a spongy cracker. The tuna flavor is there, but it’s not too strong. These are supposed to have EPA and DHA for brain health.

Tamatama Tomato reminds me of a large arare cracker, with a base of glutinous rice. It has a flavor that brings to mind canned tomatoes and is very crunchy.

Feve Broad Bean x Butter Chicken Curry is a combo of curry flavored broad beans and thick cut potato chips. The chips aren’t as greasy as traditional potato chips and they are lightly salty but they don’t taste like curry. The broad beans definitely have that curry powder flavor and a hint of sweetness. Be careful when chewing, some of the pieces can be quite hard.

Gobochi Lucky Spice Burdock Burdock is a plant root and here it has a texture that reminds me of sweet potato chips. The flavor on this is phenomenal, with sweet, spicy, tangy, and umami notes that I’ve tasted before, maybe teriyaki sauce or that dipping sauce that is served with tempura.

Feve Pecan x Milk Chocolate The packaging from this brand makes it feel super special. Check out the Aztec-inspired art on the bag!

These are delicious roasted pecans covered with milk chocolate coating and a roll in cocoa powder. The bag says sugar free but I feel like there is something giving this a hint of sweetness, possibly stevia but without a strong aftertaste and without being too sweet. I think it’s one of the best milk chocolate flavors I’ve ever tried before! Thoroughly tasty!

Strawberry Choco Marshmallow The marshmallow is soft and fluffy and has a delicate strawberry flavor – there are freeze-dried berries in there! The inside is a creamy milk chocolate center and of course strawberries and chocolate go together so nicely! Try topping a hot cocoa with one of these fluffy masterpieces.

Ryukyu Chocolate Pineapple This candy boasts that it shouldn’t melt in the summertime! It has 72% cacao sweetened with brown sugar and there are crystalized pieces of pineapple in there too; not pineapples covered with chocolate, more like mixed together. It’s an interesting texture and flavor and I really enjoyed these two foods together.

The January WOWBOX Healthy & Beauty Box was a fun contrast of flavors and textures! There were nuts, beans, chips, and candy and each snack was super tasty. There were sweet and savory snacks and with the exception of the marshmallows I think they were all unique to me, I had never tried any of these before. It’s a fun way to discover special snacks from another country and it’s fun to share with my family to see what they think of these snacks too.
