Laura Gellar Hi-Def Glow Illuminator Duo ($19.99) The illuminator duo came in a compact packaging so it’s easy to bring on-the-go for quick retouches.
The shades are called Shimmer and Sparkle. All the ingredients are listed at the back sticker of the packaging.
The shades are so nice and I love how pigmented they are. There’s also a compact mirror inside!
There are tons of tiny reflective particles but it doesn’t look chunky when applied. I just love how this makes my skin look more fresh and radiant!
Ciate London The Velvet Palette ($30) Here’s another palette and it came in a cute pink packaging.
The palette looks chic and luxe! The shade range is good and they have everything from mattes to metallics and even some soft shimmer shades!
Each shadow feels velvety smooth with an excellent color payoff. There are tons of eye looks that can be created with this palette alone. I love that there are everyday shades that I can wear to the office and there are also more playful shades that I can use for special occasions.
Farmacy Beauty Deep Sweep ($28) Formulated with moringa seed extract and moringa water, this toner helps refresh the skin by removing impurities. It’s alcohol-free so it doesn’t sting and it doesn’t strip the skin off of its natural oils. It also has papaya extracts that help with gentle exfoliation to clarify the skin and make it more vibrant!
Bali Balm Sweet Orange & Coconut Lip Balm ($33) Here’s something for the lips, a lip balm infused with coconut oil. It softens and moisturizes the lips while keeping them protected from free radicals thanks to vitamin C. It applies smoothly on the lips and it even has a citrusy scent! Because it has coconut oil, it may get a bit solid if it’s super cold, but I didn’t have that issue. I love the flavor!
Dr. Brandt Triple Peptide Eye Cream ($82) This eye cream was formulated to minimize fine lines and reduce dark circles. It contains a triple peptide complex that rejuvenates the skin and helps illuminate the under eye area to make your eyes appear brighter. It also helps reduce puffiness so it’s a life saver on days when you have early morning appointments but you haven’t had enough sleep from the night before.
I’m loving this BOXYCHARM curation that aims to give us a fresh start for the new year. It includes a good mix of skincare and makeup, and my favorite among them is the eye cream because it works wonders on my under eye area. It helps with fine lines and wrinkles, all while keeping the dark circles at bay. The lip balm was also good and it’s now a permanent item on my desk at it helps me keep my lips soft and smooth. I got the best value for my money with this box as its total retail value is over $190!
