This month’s theme is a “Drop it like a Squat”.
The information card talk about the two main item in this month’s box.
We received a pair of leggings (assorted colors) and a headband.
This month, we are challenge to a 30-day squat routine.
The workout card’s welcoming words remind us that squatting is a move everyone should master as it’s benificial on so many level.
There’s an indept description of how to squat properly, with pictures!
There’s a description of how to safely progress your squats so you can eventually add a barbell to it.
And here’s the routine. Even with only bodyweight squats, this can be challenging.
HyprMV Aurora Leggings. I’ve seen the leggings in pink, grey, and black from other subscribers. I’ve received mine in black.
They are made of a blend of polyester and spandex and feel cool to the touch.
They feature TWO big pockets on each side!
I love real-sized pockets on my leggings. They are deep enough for my whole hand to fit in there. I can carry my phone without worrying about dropping it while doing a squat.
The back features the reflective logo. They sit nicely on my hips, and they are squat-proof.
BANDZ headband – Florida Tropics. This is a cute headband with an elastic material that should stay in place while working out. It’s smaller at the back for a better grip.
Mike’s Recovery Mineral Soak – Rest. This is such an awesome item to receive, I was so excited when I saw it in the box! Especially if you suffer from DOMS the day after some nice heavy squats! This soak is made with Sea Salt, Frankincense, Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang, Vetiver, and Chamomile Essential oil, as well as coconut oil.
Depending on how much you use per bath, this pouch can serve from 1 to 3 baths. Probably one of my favorite items this month because we haven’t received something like that in a while. I really like a recovery tool like this.
ZenEvo Chocolate & Peanut Butter Protein Cups. I received the cookies & cream in last month’s box and they were so delicious I was excited to get more this month.
Each cups is 7g of protein (22g total), 130 calories (390 cal total), and 2g of fiber (6g total). If you check your calories, these are quite the treats!
Reign – Total Body Fuel Lilikoi Lychee. This pre-workout energy drink contains 300mg of caffeine, no sugar (sweetened with sucralose), contains vitamins B3, B6, and B12 as well as Sodium, Potassium, and Magnesium, with some BCAA. I’m not into pre-workout drinks, as I work out in the evening so I mostly just go for electrolytes around my workout. But I could see myself drinking it in the morning instead of my coffee when I want something sweet.
This was a fun Miss Muscle Box. I really like that I have leggings for a “squat” themed box, and the Mike’s Recovery Soaking Salts were a lovely addition. I wish I would get more of these treats as I love anything that helps in recovery. The Protein Cups were delicious as always, but they are more like a treat with extra protein than an actual source of protein for me. I’m still happy I got them. The energy drink is always a hit or miss, depending on people’s preference because of the caffeine. Personally, I would rather get an electrolyte drink than pre-workout, but it was still tasty and something I might pick up to sometimes replace my morning coffee.
