The items arrived in a brown box with Curateur branding. It’s simple yet elegant!

The interior of the box is in black and it also looks classy.

There’s no wrapping paper, but some items were packed in plastic.

They also included a mini-magazine for Winter 2020.

Inside is a message from the Curateur-In-Chief, Rachel Zoe.

On this page, it shows a glimpse of the items in the Winter curation. We’ve included the rest of the pages from the book at the bottom of the post.

Everything in my box!

Elaluz 24k Lip Therapy ($28) Chapping is one of my biggest concerns in winter and I’m glad that this box includes a lip treatment to help me combat it. The lip therapy is packed with 24k gold that is said to help retain collagen, therefore keeping the lips firm and supple. I think they mostly add a bit of glitz. Other key ingredients are exfoliating papaya seed oil and antioxidant-rich acai berry oil.

It was packed in a small tub, which was well-sealed to avoid spilling. To use, you just have to apply it on your lips using clean fingers and layer if you want an extra boost of hydration. I have high expectations for the formula and it didn’t let me down because it instantly melted into my lips and it didn’t feel heavy nor sticky. It also might work if you want to put it over your lip color!

TALIANNA Lilypad Catchall Tray ($75) The sophisticated tray came in its own box packaging to keep it safe during transit.

Look at this beauty! The ceramic tray’s gold-plated details is simply stunning. I already put this on my desk, and it was an effortless way to make the space look a bit more up to date. The tray is small but enough to accommodate some of my favorite accessories. It reminded me a little of the Popsugar Must Have Neiman Marcus box selections.

Amber Sceats Emery Cuff ($169) Who says we can’t accessorize in winter? This unique cuff boasts a 24k gold plating and I think it’s the perfect piece to show off at a Christmas gathering or at a New Year’s Eve party – even if it’s just us at home!

It comes with a card with a short description of the accessory plus care tips.

I can’t take my eyes off of it! The details look like they’re sculptured! Despite its chunky appearance, the cuff actually isn’t as heavy as I expected. I’m also looking forward to pairing it with a white top or a white dress!

Understated Leather Crescent Clutch in Ivory ($110) To pair with my winter outfits is this clutch as white as snow! It arrived in a reusable dust bag to avoid scratches or any other damage.

It’s made with vegan leather and I love how elegant it looks especially up close.

There’s enough space in it for my phone and a small wallet or even my lipstick and compact powder.

It comes with a gold-colored detachable crossbody chain, which accentuates the white leather really well. There’s also a matching tassel in ivory that adds more flair to the bag! Subscribers could choose between a white or black bag (which also has a goldtone chain, which I like because it matches the cuffs).

CUSHNIE Grey Horizon Ombre Scarf ($150) This winter-themed box wouldn’t be complete without a scarf to keep me warm and toasty!

It’s made with polyester, that’s why it’s super soft and comfortable to wear. I also like its ombre color!

This scarf is oversized and I can wear it in a lot of ways. It’s light and easy to use, and adds a bit of warmth. Do I like it, yes it’s fine, but the attached price is way out of whack with the actual value.

Curateur never fails to embody luxury and elegance. The items in this box are a perfect fit for the season. Plus, all of the brands are female owned or founded! For me, the keepers are the vegan leather bag and the golden cuff. I can easily pair the bag with different holiday looks, and the accessory is just stunning. I also like the scarf because it’s oversized and it keeps me looking put together but I would’ve preferred a different item. I can’t help but to compare it to Box of Style wraps in the past, and it leaves me wanting! Of course, let’s not forget the lip therapy infused with 24k gold. I love the formula, it hydrates my lips without the heavy or greasy feeling that other lip treatments have. Overall, the curation did feel cohesive. It’s also definitely worth more than the price paid for the membership, so I’m happy, especially with the clutch.

Here’s the rest of the pages from the booklet:

There’s also a designer spotlight featuring Carly Cushnie.

Next up is a gift guide from The Shoppe, their members-only marketplace.

There’s even a feature about Amber Sceats and Jennifer Kassell, who are best friends and founders of their respective brands.

For the cover story, they interviewed Camila Coelho, a Brazilian-American fashion and beauty entrepreneur.

This is such a fun and enjoyable read!

They even share a recipe in the mini-magazine and for this quarter, it’s chocolate pecan bourbon pie.

Next, they introduced members to The Collective, a partnership network of brands that gives members exclusive offers. This new member benefit is automatically added to your membership, no sign-ups needed.

Also included in the mini-mag is a holiday greeting from Rachel Zoe.

Lastly, there are features about brand collabs and coupon codes from Prima and Janie and Jack.

    Yes to turquoise!

I love the bag too — I got it in black. The bracelet is also up my alley but I wish they had included the earrings for everyone. They would’ve been great for Zoom holiday parties! Not so much a fan of the scarf and I wish RAchel Zoe would sometimes do something unexpected, like select bright turquoise as The color for winter. I think she’s done red, navy, and black/white twice now. They seem not super fashion forward, and maybe that’s good for most subscribers, but I think we could all do turquoise.

This is an interesting idea! I am loving it. Turquoise goes with everything.
