GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box with at least 5 luxury samples – many full sizes – per month for $21.

This is the review of the Rodial Box Limited Edition Box. It comes with 6 specially curated products from the Dragon’s Blood skincare range of the Rodial, a luxury British skincare brand.  It’s $30 for subscribers and $25 for non-subscribers.

Everything arrived in a sturdy red box that has Rodial and GLOSSYBOX logo in front.

The items were packed inside a black wrapping paper and sealed with a custom ribbon.

There were black squiggles that cushion the items as well.

It also comes with a booklet that contains everything we need to know about this limited edition box.

They even gave us a sneak peek of what to expect in the 2020 Holiday Limited Edition Box!

The booklet lists all the items included inside the box. There’s also a brief description and a usage tip for each.

Everything in my Rodial Limited Edition Box!

Rodial Dragon’s Blood Lip Mask ($11.25) Dragon’s blood is not a usual ingredient you would see on your beauty products so I was excited about the items in this box. Apparently, dragon’s blood from a sappy resin of the Croton Lechleri tree that is known for its medicinal properties! First, I received two lip masks infused with dragon’s blood.

It has anti-inflammatory properties and it also helps soothe and protect the lips from external aggressors that may cause dryness and chafing. I like these masks because they really did make my lips feel smoother and moisturized!

Rodial Dragon’s Blood Jelly Eye Patches ($19.50) There are also two eye jelly patches, also formulated with dragon’s blood. This is another type of mask that is applied to the under-eye area to help improve its appearance!

It also contains hyaluronic acid that keeps the skin hydrated while the dragon’s blood helps promote skin elasticity. The jelly texture helps de-puff the eyes even after an all-nighter, making it look bright and vibrant!

Rodial Dragon’s Blood Micellar Cleansing Water ($15) This micellar water with dragon’s blood helps in melting makeup and lifting out skin impurities.

I like that it’s gentle on my skin and that it’s ideal for daily use. The formula is soothing and moisturizing so it doesn’t strip the skin of its natural oils when cleansing! Another key ingredient is rose water, which provides the skin with antioxidants to keep it healthy and glowing!

Rodial Dragon’s Blood Sculpting Gel ($14.17) Ideal for most skin types, this sculpting gel helps the skin to look plumper and healthier. It stimulates the skin’s collagen production so it appears firmer and lifted!

You can use this on areas of the face where you would like to contour and lift! It’s also formulated with Commiphora extract that helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles!

It takes consistent use to see visible results but so far I love its gentle and nourishing formula. It’s also really easy to use!

Rodial Glamolash Mascara XXL ($8.03) To help achieve gorgeous and bright looking eyes, here’s a mascara!

It’s a Glamolash Mascara XXL and it easily glams up my lashes in just a swipe!

It provides volume that makes my lashes look fuller which in turn makes my eyes pop. The formula is good and I like that it doesn’t clump up the lash strands. It’s also long-wearing and it doesn’t just melt off, unlike others I’ve tried before.

The formula contains carnauba wax which helps the product adhere better to the natural lash hairs. It also has beeswax that conditions the lashes!

This Limited Edition GLOSSYBOX had me really excited! The box and packaging presentation was so good. I love the red theme they have for Rodial. I also got to learn more about dragon’s blood which is apparently really good for the skin! In this box, my favorite product was the sculpting gel and the eye jelly patches. The sculpting gel is quite promising, especially for those who have skin aging concerns. It’s also easy to use. Meanwhile, the patches are a life saver for days when I didn’t get enough sleep. The mascara is also great in making my eyes look brighter and more alert. The overall retail value is $66, which is not nearly as high as promised ($100), but content-wise this is still a good box!

Less masks/patches and more actual products would have been great in this box.
