The box is jampacked! I’m already feeling the fall vibes! Included in the box is a promotional card! This offer is valid for first-time CAUSEBOX members. As always, the box also includes a booklet with product descriptions and fun articles!

Everything in the Fall 2020 box! Post Card. This cute post card features women of all shapes, colors, and sizes helping each other out! I like it because it sends a strong message about women empowerment. At the back, there’s a space to write a message as well as a dedicated space for the postage stamp and the information of the receiver. Core Bamboo Bamboo Serve Set. For serving food at parties or even just for a simple dinner, this bamboo set is pretty useful. It doesn’t only look pleasant on the eyes, but it’s also good for the environment. It’s an eco-friendly alternative to our usual serving sets, as bamboo is a renewable and sustainable material. Another thing I like about bamboo is that it’s naturally antimicrobial. The set includes a pair of tongs, a spatula, and a cutting board. The tongs and spatula are light and easy to handle. The board can also be used for serving cheese, meat, and other goodies. Artisan Direct Milky Way Lantern. This pretty lantern is inspired by the Milky Way and it’s made in India! Annual subscribers were able to choose between this lantern and the Tease Tea 3-in-1 Tea & Fruit Tumbler! It’s made of steel and it’s gold plated! I love the shiny finish as well, but what makes it really eye-catching are the stars that create an ethereal effect when a light is cast from the inside. There is a designated space inside where you can put your tea light candle. Even if you carry the lantern around, it wouldn’t move from its place as it’s safely tucked inside! Way of Will Brightening Face Serum ($37.50) This facial serum is infused with a blend of all-natural oils that promise healthy and glowing skin. I like this product because it’s so lightweight and it absorbs fast, giving my skin an instant boost. Also, I barely feel it once I have it on. No icky feeling after application, unlike other serums! Formulated with vitamin C, it helps reduce dark spots and gives the skin a brighter and more radiant glow! This serum also helps tone and moisturize the skin. It’s ideally used after cleansing and you’d need 2-4 drops of the serum per application. Warm the serum on your palms first and pat it gently on your face. It has a nice smell and it’s powerful yet gentle on my skin. Volim Love Scrub ($56)  Exfoliating is a must for better and younger-looking skin! It shouldn’t be too harsh or drying, and this one definitely fits the bill. It’s infused with hyaluronic acid so it removes dead and dry skin cells while keeping the skin moisturized. Annual subscribers were able to choose among this, Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Gel, and Tribe Alive Rose Gold Criss Cross Cuff. It came in a tub packaging, which is easier to use. I just open the lid, scoop what I need, put the lid back on and I’m all set! The scrub was clumped up when I received it but still, I like the formula and that it didn’t feel harsh or abrasive on my skin at all. Buzzy Seeds Basil Grow Kit ($10) This kit contains everything I need to grow basil at home! Annual subscribers were able to choose between this and The Green Co Reusable Facial Rounds (set of 10). The procedure is easy and straight forward. In just a few weeks or months, I’ll be able to grow my own basil and make pesto sauce from scratch! The kit contains the growing medium, a pack of seeds, and a pail where we can initially start planting the basil seeds. Once it grows and flourishes (which I hope it does), it can be re-potted it in a bigger container! Bathen Waffle Towels (Set of 4). Annual subscribers were able to choose between Bathen Waffle Bathrobe or Bathen Waffle Towels (Set of 4) in Charcoal or Mint. I chose the waffle towel set, which includes two bath towels and two hand towels. The color I chose is Charcoal. They’re all made with waffle cotton so they’re absorbent and quick-drying. Also, the dye used for the color is non-toxic.   Each piece is ethically hand-woven by artisans in India which makes it all the more special! I received lovely items in the Fall 2020 CAUSEBOX and I’m pretty happy with my choice items. Some of them are for the home, while the others are for personal use. My favorite is the bamboo serving set! I like it because it’s eco-friendly and it’s anti-microbial as well. The board, tongs, and spatula will be useful in our kitchen, especially when we have guests over. Coming in a close second is the lantern. It has a nice golden color and it gives off a wonderful effect when a candle is lit inside. It makes a perfect fall decor for any bedroom or even a living room! There are also a couple of skincare items in my box that help rejuvenate my skin especially now that the weather is getting colder. All in all, it’s evident that they put a lot of thought into curating the Fall box and it makes me really happy! What do you think of the Fall 2020 CAUSEBOX? Visit CAUSEBOX to subscribe or find out more! Here’s more of the booklet: Inside the booklet is a message from Hannah, the box’s Editor-In-Chief. It features a table of contents so you can easily flip through the pages and find an article you might be interested in. Next up is a preview of the items inside the box. They have pictures as well as a short description for each. This part of the magazine is a feature about community contributors. There’s also a highlight on Cynthia Kittler, a professional illustrator who made this month’s box art. Another feature is about the women behind Bathen. They even included photos of a backstrap weaver from Guatemala. There is a lot of interesting reads in this mini-magazine! This feature is about bamboo, which is the material used for one of the products in this month’s box. They suggested different ways to use the bamboo set! Reading the magazine is a great form of entertainment. Through this magazine, we also get to know the story behind the products and their makers.

Even in tough times, we all have the power to change the world, one action at a time. Every person can help create a brighter future by discovering their strengths and using them to illuminate the way.

Here are skin care tips! They have such diverse content. They even discuss ingredients that help the skin look and feel better. Of course, they didn’t forget to include recipes I can recreate at home! They also provided extra tips on how to take care of the basil! Lastly, here are member-only deals from the brands featured in this box!

This was a pretty lame box from what I’ve read from people’s experience. Those that received the bathrobe found it shrank about 12 sizes and as for the rest…well, it’s clear they needed better stuff because they brought the PMD back for the next box.
