First peek!

The August theme is Mystical Forest Camp featuring all sorts of cute animals!

Cinnamoroll Tote Bag — A small tote bag with Cinnamoroll and her friends hanging out in front of Tokyo Station! There were a variety of designs sent out and I’m so glad I got this cute blue one! It’s a small bag to be fair, but it will fit the bento box from this month perfectly!

Animal Crossing Stickers — Animal Crossing, or どうぶつの森 (Animal Forest) in Japanese, is all the rage this year with the launch of the latest game New Horizons in the spring. This is a pack of stickers featuring the NPC characters like Isabelle, Rover, KK Slider, and Celeste!

Tanuki Plush — Though they look like raccoons with their masked faces, the tanuki is a distinctly Japanese canine (dog!) species which are commonly depicted in lore as being mischievous, naughty, and tricky. This little guy is palm-sized and perfect to give a loving squish to cheer yourself up.

Totoro Bento Box — An adorable two-level bento featuring the spirit Totoro! This bento box is on the smaller size but has stacking sections so you could definitely pack in a variety of snacks, though it’s not big enough for something like a sandwich.

The lid of the second tier has a tiny fork! So cute!

Sumikko Gurashi Canteen Mug — This is such a cool idea for a mug. The handle is a carabiner clip so you can easily attach it to the strap of your purse, a backpack, a bag. It’s a smaller sized mug and it won’t be microwave safe, but it’s great to have something so convenient.

Pokemon Re-Ment — SoKawaii loves these adorable Re-Ment minis and I’ve had a few of them so far! Normally I open them and show everyone, but this one is going to be given to my good friend Jess who LOVES Pokemon, so I’m really curious to see which one she got!

One thing I love seeing is the Japanese names of the Pokemon characters, like Purin (which means pudding!) for Jigglypuff and Ruffresia for Vileplume.

I loved the August theme filled with adorable forest animals! This was a great fall theme and SoKawaii was packed full of cute items!
