The tools and materials were securely packed in a cardboard box.

The items were wrapped in paper and some were also in plastic pouches. As expected, they sent a complete set of materials for this project!

Featured on the leaflet are instructions and materials for the project. They were very easy to follow since they were written in detail.

There are also corresponding illustrations for every step of the process so it was easy to monitor if I was doing it correctly or not.

Everything in my box!

Here’s a pack of the ArtResin Epoxy Resin which is BPA-free and made in the USA, plus a pair of gloves.

They also sent us 6 cups and 6 popsicle sticks.

Here are 3 bottles of matte acrylic paints to give life to our project. We received them in blue, white, and yellow. There’s also a small container of holographic rose gold glitters.

This mold is where our coasters will take shape.

We also received a gold-colored oil-based sharpie and sandpaper!

We did this project in a well-ventilated room, as suggested by the instruction sheet. This is because fumes are produced when using the lighter to eliminate the air bubbles. To start, we mixed the resin pouch together in the packet and massaged them for at least 3 minutes. After mixing the resin, we transferred it to the cups provided in the box. Two of the cups should be 3/4 full, one cup should be 1/2 full, and the two remaining cups should be 1/3 full. We also used the popsicle sticks for mixing them further with the paints!

After mixing the resin with paint, we transferred them to the mold starting from the clear resin followed by the colored ones. We poured them slowly starting on the sides until we filled up the whole thing.

Next, we used the provided stick to mix the colors on the mold!

For them to settle down and form nicely, you can use either a long stem lighter or an artist torch to pop the air bubbles. This was a pungent step but worth it.

We left our coasters for 24 hours to cure and afterward, they’re ready for the final touches.

The Sharpie is for adding a touch of gold on the edges of the coasters!

We also added the glitters on the pointed side of the coasters!

After the final touches, we waited for another 72 hours. Here’s how the finished product looks like!

The colors mixed beautifully, especially on the sides!

It’s quite stunning!

They look great even when stacked!

We love Adults & Crafts because of the fun DIY projects they send every month! Every box is a great way to exercise our creativity and in the end, we have new items that we can use at home. This month, we made agate coasters and they all turned out beautiful. The provided instructions are easy to follow so we didn’t have a hard time making the coasters. Most of the materials are also included, even the glitter and the gold-colored Sharpie for the edges of the coaster. This subscription sends such worthwhile projects, ideal for people who are looking for new hobbies or for those who just love crafting in general!
