The MasterClass Instructor – Gordon Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay opens this class with an inside look at his personal kitchen. In this class, viewers are not only going to learn about Gordon’s cooking techniques, but what makes him tick and how he got to where he is today. Gordon Ramsay is a world renowned chef who has a restaurant empire of over 30 highly-acclaimed restaurants in Europe, Asia, and the United States. He has also been awarded three Michelin stars, one in 1994, 1997, and 2001. And in 2006, Gordon was even made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth.

Gordon was born in 1966 in Johnstone, Scotland, and raised in StratfordUpon-Avon, England. At the age of 16, Gordon enrolled in a course in Hotel Management at North Oxfordshire Technical College, England. Gordon worked under eminent chefs Marco Pierre White and the Roux brothers before moving to Paris in 1990, then returning to London to open his first restaurant, Aubergine, in 1993.

Gordon Ramsay has created an exclusive class that covers a wide variety of techniques. His class is broken up into seven major sections: mastering the kitchen, elevating eggs, cooking chicken, mastering seafood, the perfect pasta, meats: beef, lamb, and pork, and lastly viewers get an inside look to Gordon’s own journey in the kitchen.

Everything that I’ve learned, understood, grabbed, stolen, perfected, is laid bare across this MasterClass.

What I loved about this class was Gordon Ramsay’s great insights and use of some of the more basic recipes to really demonstrate how to master everyday meals. My favorite recipe from this class was the elevated scrambled eggs. This is a meal is a staple in almost any household and restaurant, but yet Gordon Ramsay’s simple modifications will elevate your breakfast to the next level!

I loved this class from the very beginning and will be using many of these recipes and techniques for years to come! Gordon Ramsay has created a great class that really demonstrates techniques using a wide variety of recipes, while also providing insights to his own journey as a chef. If you are looking for a class that will elevate your at home cooking, this is the class for you!
