The Hippie Box is a monthly aromatherapy box containing items from The Hippie Homesteader! I’ve encountered hand-made, small batch items from this maker before and was so excited to hear they have a monthly box! Every month they will send a sampling of their exclusive aromatherapy rollers, new blends, and bath and body samples. The Hippie Box is $19.95 a month and shipping is free, plus members receive free shipping on shop items too!

Here at the Hippie Homesteader we believe that wellness and beauty is best designed by nature. The Hippie Homesteader products are handcrafted in small batches using only pure essential oils and naturally sourced ingredients. Our essential oil blends uplift the mind, body, and spirit with the power of nature.

My items were packed in shredded paper squiggles.

The bottles are glass so they were protected with bubble wrap.

I found a paper with my items listed. August’s box is about beauty!

MSRP’s were listed along with a brief description of each item.

Everything in my Hippie Box! The Hippie Box includes items that may not be available on their website, so you will be first to try them!

The Hippe Homesteader Targeted Serum ($14.95) Targeted Serum is meant to fight fine lines and wrinkles with herbs and oils known to have anti-aging properties.

The ingredients in here are avocado oil, marula oil, baobab oil, rose hip seed oil, geranium essential oil, clove bud essential oil, and carrot seed essential oil.

The roller ball topper is glass and so unique, plus, a roller ball applicator makes it easy to get to those lines around the mouth or under the eyes. The scent is warm and aromatic and would probably do double duty as a low-key fragrance. My skin absorbed the oil quickly and I will continue to use it as an under eye serum.

The Hippie Homesteader Frankincense Pure Essential Oil ($14.95) I love essential oils and have a diffuser that gets some serious use, especially going into fall. This is one of those oils that has a warm, spicy scent that is perfect for autumn diffuser blends.

The ingredients are 100% pure frankincense essential oil.

It has a euro dropper so that you can precisely pour out the drops you need without making a mess. Frankincense is said to promote peace and harmony plus overall healthy feelings when diffused or mixed into a perfume blend. This oil can be mixed with a skin-safe carrier oil and used to help fight fine lines and other signs of aging or to heal minor skin irritations.

Essential Oil Diffusing Necklace ($15.95 listed value) An exclusive oil diffusing necklace was included and it is lovely to look at, I love the colors and design of this necklace!

The necklace itself is faux leather cord with a charm made of coconut wood. There is a black lava bead in the middle and it is fixed in place with copper wire.

The cord is about 26″ long and slips over my head. The coconut bark disc almost has a verdigris look about it.

Place a drop of your favorite essential oil on the stone and it will waft up to your nose all day long!

I am enjoying the hand-made, small batch items that I received in The Hippie Box from The Hippie Homesteader! The products are all-natural and smell wonderful, but in a natural way, not in a fake perfume kind of way. The frankincense essential oil will be added to my collection, which I mostly use for diffusing but have been known to whip up a body product now and again. The roller ball felt wonderful when I used it under and around my eyes. The necklace is exactly my style, very natural but with a touch of fanciness to it thanks to the color and copper wire. It’s bohemian and not too chic – I don’t want to be fancy, just down to earth yet also pretty.
