The item arrived in great condition, cushioned by blue squiggles.
Inside the box is another sleek, reusable, sliding box with the Southern Scholar logo on top.
It makes a good stash box for collecting change, golf tees, cuff links, or other trinkets.
Each month, a small card is included inside the box that features a full-size card photo of the socks together with some of the wearable you can pair them with.
The back of the card contains unique styling tips that would be very helpful to the wearer. This month’s theme is The Perfect Patriots!

Just like previous socks we’ve received, this pair came with a white carton sleeve featuring the Southern Scholar logo.
According to the label, these socks are made using 200 Needle Count Knitting Machines which results in softer and more durable socks, with just the right amount of stretch.
The Perfect Patriots. It’s a sophisticated pair of crew-cut style socks, showcasing classic blue and wide red stripes. The socks are made with 55% polyester, 23% viscose-rayon, 17% nylon, and 5% spandex.
Embroidered below the reinforced cuffs is Southern Scholar’s trademark logo.
Aside from the reinforced cuffs, these socks also have soft heels and toes, providing your feet with warmth and comfort.
According to the info card, these socks are best worn together with a navy or grey linen suit or slack, white dress shirt, dark brown wingtips, and a matching brown leather band watch and belt. It also goes well with grey or navy blue tie and white pocket square.
This month’s Southern Scholar box features another pair of high-quality socks. The striped design is truly a class of its own and it never really gets out-of-date. I also appreciate the inclusion of styling tips. They’re very helpful, making it easier for me to look for the best suits and accessories to pair the socks with. This is definitely one of the best sock subscriptions I’ve tried! It’s an awesome way of adding a fresh pair of socks to add to my collection monthly!
